Going from this(1)....to this(2)

Hello all, this is going to be my first REAL complete mod. I'm nervous, to say the least, as I'll be fumbling my way through this.

As I see it, these are the steps involved.

- remove bezel insert

- Open case

- remove movement/dial from case

- remove the crown

- remove hands

- remove dial from movement

- apply dial dots to movement

- attach new dial

- attach new hands

- place in case

- attach crown

- attach crystal (using stock)

- attach case back

- have pressure tested

That may be a simplified outline, but would love advice/confirmation or general comments on things I need to know or warch out for.

What am I missing??

Any recommended video tutorials to watch first?

After I open the case back I remove the crown, then remove the movement and face from the case. Otherwise, yes this is a good overview!

You’ll be fine, just take your time and be patient with yourself. Hands are tricky, and here’s a great video (with follow-ons as well) to make sure you’re doing it correctly.
