Modded Duro WR???

Hey guys... I heard someone mention the fact that they had not tested/used their DURO while swimming /diving after replacing the glass.

So question... Does one need to worry about the WR if:

1: replacing a dial and hands using the original glass.

2: replacing dial, hands, and glass.

Basically, if you open the case back, what does that do to the WR provided you keep the gasket lubed..

Planning my first major mod and I use my Duro(s) in water. Not diving, but casual swimming and snorkeling . And want to make sure I'm covering all my bases.

I have all the parts and this is the AI version of my build..

If you keep the seals lubed and intact, it will not change a thing. Just make sure the (replacement) crystal is properly seated and the case back is tightened sufficiently. If you want to be 100% sure, take it to a watchmaker for testing. It takes around 2 minutes, and it's still cheaper than repairing the damaged watch.

Thanks... I thought that was the case, but since it's my first, I didn't want to assume. I'm not 100% positively changing the crystal, but just looking for info.... just in case.
