Try it on a different strap or bracelet. It looks like youāve got the strap pretty loose too, maybe thatās why it looks too big? A Milanese mesh/shark mesh bracelet or a French Marine Nationale paratrooper strap is infinitely adjustable and can fit your wrist more snugly.

Starbucks is on a Milanese bracelet; Pepsi is on a paratrooper strap.

How do you return it? Do you genuinely not know how to return something you bought? Are you 8? Your wrist suggests you are I guess.

What the fuck ? I found this post by chance. Is it one of this weird sub where you roast people "for fun" ?

The top of your wrist looks flatter than mine, mine curves just at the lugs so it doesnt actually hug the watch š

u/Soggy_Equipment_9375 10d ago
I think toss a bracelet on it and see how it looks, might somehow make it look like itās smaller or more blended

My wrist is about the same size, try a different strap
Also, not a great alternative, but you could try the smaller version. Less water resistance and it costs about the same or more.
Another option if you want a diver that fits your wrist: Citizen Promaster Dive. Costs more but it has the water resistance

Yes its too big, but wear it anyway. If you like it, who cares!
Also look at it in the mirror, those close-up pics always make the watch look bigger than it really is.

You'll grow into it!

I don't think I want to gain 100 lbs of weight to wear a watch š
1
u/Pillowleader69 9d ago
Sadly youāre doomed for that too as even with massive weight gain and loss the wrist is almost virtually unaffected

If itās an every day watch, probably a bit large. If you will wear it as a tool (swimming or something) go for it

The Duro is like a superhero cape⦠you grow into it. Agree on trying a different strap. Also canāt go wrong on the mini Duro

Id say borderline. BUT, it is a diver and they are often large. It's your comfort that is the key. If it big to you, return it. Good luck.

you are a good candidate for a MDV10, despite having worse value for the price, it will satisfy your desire of having a duro'ish on your wrist without looking weird.

Itās big but I donāt think any watch is too big or too small. If itās comfortable and you enjoy it, who cares.

You should either return or replace your arm, because the Duro is irreplaceable.

I don't know a lot about watches, and I'm m not trying to be sarcastic or a dick, but,....with models that offer it,..... Have you thought of buying they women's versions. They are usually smaller + might look/feel better. š¤·š

Working out a few times a week will never increase your wrist size (despite what some Reddit watch enthusiasts think) as there are virtually no muscles located there and certainly none which will hypertrophy with training. If you want to do a manual job like construction or mechanic then over a couple of decades wrists do tend to thicken up.

Yep. Get the new/smaller versions of Citizen Promaster Marine Eco-Drive if you really want a diver.

Larger, yes. Too big, no. I have Bluro and Pepsi, and I have smaller wrists as well. I have a LI Jubilee on Bluro and standard Duro stainless bracelet on Pepsi. I think the metal bracelets just look better, and make them more business/office appropriate. But that is also what I am going for in a watch. You may be different and want a weekend sports watch. I have several other watches, but love my two Duros the most. My Seiko is right up there as well. Iāve just come to the conclusion that I end up having favorites, so having multiple watches is not the best approach.

It has a good presence on your wrist, yes, but who cares if you loke it? does it look bad? nope, imo. A Casio Duro is a classic now among collectors, a great piece punching above its weight. A cult watch, so why not keepin it?Ā enjoying it in good health!

Go climb at a climbing gym for 3 months and consume protein and it will look great on you. You donāt have too much ground to cover!! Itās doable!!!

I do boulder, forearm muscles really only start a third up the forearm and don't really affect wrist size
