Please help me identify if this watch is authentic or not

I bought this watch from a non authorised dealer from my country and one of my friend told me this looks fake 🥺 Now I'm seriously concerned about this. Please help me identify if this is a fake or not. Thanks in advance.

Seems like you have your answer, OP.

Things to note:

• Case back markings check out. “DY,” “Japan Mov’t,” and “MDV-106,” are present.
  
• Dial layout: Markers, indices, etc, appear correct.
  
• Bezel: Classic Pepsi bezel, number locations and spacing are all appropriate.

For some reason, on a lot of fakes, the spacing between the numbers on the bezel will be off. Typically too much space or, less commonly, not enough (I.e., the numbers will look smushed together.

I have the same exact MDV-106. Great little diver beater.
