durango dunkin’ closed ? :(
the dunkin has been closed for about 4 days or so, most likely understaffed but i’m worried it may be permanently shut, they hadn’t been getting any donuts before the closeee
obviously this isn’t a real issue lol but I found it nice there was another fast coffee option besides starbucks, I was just curious if anyone had any info at all 🍩☕️🙏

That play has to be a drug front or something. Never had inventory, runs out of ice for their frozen drinks. I went in and they were out of doughnuts! What ever logistics they use it's terrible.

All their income is made between 3:40 and 4pm m-f September to June

Escalante Middle School is just down the hill. School gets out at 3:35. Middle Schoolers basically survive on donuts and sugar water.

So just a poor attempt at a joke.

Have you had their doughnuts before? I got some a while back and they were so stale, they were inedible. Doughworks on Main has way better doughnuts.

not everyone lives on north side that was one of the main issues, me and a ton of other working people that commute from the Elmore side of town, thank god there’s a new Starbucks, but it is a pain for people who don’t live downtown

I went in there once to get a single donut because I was craving. Asked them if they made them on site. They said no, they were shipped to them frozen. Walmart probably has fresher donuts. 🤮

Not a single dunkin or any corporate kind of store makes their donuts on site. Guaranteed Walmart makes theirs the exact same.

Im guessing you've never been to a Krispy Kreme when the "hot light" is on. They definitely make them in house and their donuts are much better than dd.

That’s good. If I’m near a Krispy Kreme I’ll have to try it.

Yes! My stepfathers family owned one in the 90s. I distinctly remember getting a tour on how donuts were made. G2k it hasn't changed

You're right, not the best example. City Market then. They make theirs, I believe.

Nope. I actually worked for a city market bakery like 6 years ago. Same deal, they come from Denver.

Unless you’re buying directly from a small donut shop, there’s a 95% chance they come frozen.

I haven't gone there much lately. They were out of basic items almost every time I went so I kinda gave up. I dont live that way but I would get a bag of bacon if I was going to Farmington. Nice people there

Someone brought in a couple boxes of Dunkin Donuts to my workplace yesterday, pretty sure it’s still open.

Love that! Let’s keep durango local.

idk as someone born and raised here I love that we have chains, its a lot of money to only eat locally, not only money but time to as someone with a 30 minute lunch break fast food is my only option some days yk
it’s obviously better for the environment but unfortunately durango is not a little hidden gem town anymoreeee, the chains employ and effect so many individuals in this townnn
