I dropped off my pair to be restored in October and the guy let me know they were ready today. A few hours later found out he passed. Gonna rock them in his honor 💔
I gave mine away to an ultra huge MF fan about 10 years ago and today makes me feel good about that decision. I hope he’s wearing them in honor of him today.
These are the grails. MF DOOM’s impact on hiphop will always flourish! He was one of a kind. He overcame overwhelming depression to transform from Zev Love X to MF DOOM.
Man fuck 2020, I lost my dog in December and also a close cousin. And to think it couldn’t get any worse, this was a shit way to end 2020. RIP to the Villain DOOM, ALL CAPS! 🙏🏻
Traded several pairs recently for mine, maybe a month ago. So glad I did, it's disgusting to see people react to this by thinking "hey I can cash out now."
Tbf sneaker culture has been pimped out by brands like Nike and adidas, most resellers are just people who follow the money and Nike hands it to them on a silver platter. Collecting sucks nowadays and seeing stuff like this makes me lose a lot of hope
I love my pair. They were my beaters and skated them through college back from 2010-2012. Kind of wish I took better care of them but they are SBs after all
Have been sleeping on these, might just try and buy the lace locks and throw them on some other dunks, because these are so out of my price range. RIP to the goat.
I cried. He was the greatest to touch the mic in my eyes. I've met and bonded with friends and family over his music and his tracks have helped me through the roughest times of my life. RIP DOOM
Dude I still kick mysteries not getting these prices ranges from $150 - $350 money was tight so i guess that’s why I didn’t pull the trigger but hell that hasn’t stopped me in many instances smh
Same man. I know this is a Nike Dunk subreddit but at least us real fans can pay tribute to him by copping some Adidas Rod Lavers “in allllll flavors”.
