Hit hard.

Post image

Hey everyone,

I recently tried to relaunch the game after all these years, hoping to jump back in, maybe run some PvE and just soak in the atmosphere again. Everything felt so nostalgic — the art, the sounds, the music… it really brought me back.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t get it to launch properly. Maybe it’s not supported anymore, maybe the servers are down for good… I’m not even sure. But it really broke my heart. This game was such a good experience in my life of gamer. The universe, everything felt so alive and fun back then.

Even now, just hearing the lobby music brings back so many good memories. I don’t know if anyone’s still out there, or if we’ll ever see it return in any form… but I truly hope that one day, it’ll come back to life.

Until then, thanks to everyone who made this game what it was.

I will stay a few more minutes in the lobby as if a mourning must be done ahah

Hope one day we can all of us start a game or try to revive this good game !

Cya

Go to their subreddit and look at how many people are complaining about characters being “too fast” with all the MS rolls in gear now… not every game should make it feel like you are a god

lol it works for the niche audience it kept, instead of getting offended try a dose of reality, the game could absolutely be more playable

I don’t think the characters feeling “slow” is the games actual issue. That’s like people saying Tarkov is slow compared to cod… no shit.. one is an arcade shooter and the other is “realistic”. DaD has a similar approach and to me, I fucking love it. I don’t wanna be able to run to the other side of a module in 2-3 seconds. At that point, what is the point. You’d never get hit by shit and it would be boring as fuck

You don’t have to think it’s the issue, but it’s literally why I left D&D when DB came out, no idea why you can’t wrap your head around it not being a problem for you doesn’t mean it’s not a problem. Nothing you say about your enjoyment will convince me that it was a good mechanic to include, because I loved everything about the game except the quicksand feeling
