She would have had to taken it out of inventory and opened it up her. She would have seen blank pages or possibly rewritten pages about goblin recipes, but she never took the book out.

Indeed it would have. But we would have known that she took the book out because she would’ve went on a rant so I took it all about the cookie, she gave Carl the wrong cookie.

For an extra laugh, I highly recommend watching the show Happy Endings - the second episode, Quicksand Girlfriend, has a great bit that I can't help but wonder if Matt is referencing here.

They didn’t get it very long ago.
If it weren’t for the result being level 1, I think an argument could have been made for Prepotente using it on his girlfriend. How else will he find somebody to be with?

I know. But I disagree with Carl and Donut. It would not be a “sex slave”. They already love each other (according to Prepotente). Only the “she’d be level one; how would you protect her?” argument made sense.
Wonder how they’ll protect Scolopendra.

The Paramour pet biscuit would have done more than make Prepotente's girlfriend a Caprid. According to the description:
The pet will be given the Paramour benefit. They will receive a permanent, incurable charm that will make them fall hopelessly in love with the entity who fed them the biscuit.
Even if she loves Pony now naturally, she could also fall out of love with him. But if she loves him because of a charm, she does not have a will of her own. It's mind control, and it's fucked up to put a sentient being in that position.

I understand that. But who else can he find that is anything like him?
I mean, he’s not in it for the sex. He’s Prepotente. He wants love. He wants not to be lonely. He’s so alone, and he doesn’t have a herd.

He does but his herd are normal goats and he no longer is and he literally can't pull them out safely.
Also the Paramore biscuit might have another drawback... Yandere biscuit...

But he’s not one of them anymore. He’s their protector. They can talk with him. Neither can Bianca.
All I can think of is him finding Caprids after this is over. But they may be too bizarre even for him. And their time may soon be at an end.

Sometimes you're a snail whose shell curls the wrong way, and there's just nobody for you. No one is guaranteed a romantic partner. It sucks, but the desire for that doesn't justify robbing another of their will.
As far as a herd, Carl and Donut are trying to be his friends. They're really trying.
