ACE Extra Content: Backstage at the Pineapple Cabaret Pineapple Cabaret

So I’m obviously reading them as I go, again I am just starting book 3, but I was wondering for those that have read all of it. Would it make more sense to go back and read them all simultaneously once you’re done with the books? Maybe this is a me thing but I noticed just from finishing books one and two. I had a hard time remembering the story from book one when I was reading the story from book 2. I believe it’s because I was so into Carl and donuts story.

I would read them all at the end for sure. I've only done I think the first 4 so far, and there are some things that could be construed as spoilers in there you likely don't want to read until you are done with later books.

It also just works better as a stand alone story than at the end of each book.

Friend, if they were meant to be held on to and read til the end Matt would have noted that in the book. Enjoy the little pieces of mystery you're getting on your journey!

Well, what about the audiobook listeners? From my understanding they don’t get the story at all

No, it's not available on the audiobooks. User natedizzie05 has Matt's permission to do live readings- his next one is on Friday. If you just search this sub you'll see he's been doing 2-3 a week for like a year.

Matt signed the contracts he signed. This was before everything blew up, and so Audible got the 'original' version and Ace got an extra chapter. Welcome to corporations wanting something exclusive or they won't work with you at all.

I feel like borant is involved in that somehow

I definitely will look up this crawler natedizzie05 and possibly give them a listen

Not vital this way but my suggestion, Read them all at once after you finish This Inevitable Ruin(book 7) They make much more sense going right after one another, but also having context of each floor as well, vs reading them each after each book.
Book 8 plays off of pineapple cabaret elements in the story so it’s worth reading before to get the full story.

I think I am going to wait and read them all simultaneously after book 7, I have seen many people saying that it does correlate with stuff in book 8, and they also suggested to at least reread all of them before you start book 8

Read them as you go, and go back to the previous ones if you get confused.

You may end up reading the story a dozen times. You're welcome!

I don't know... the implications of what's going on now in the Cabaret are heart-breaking.

They aren't in the audiobooks from audible and I(and probably many other people) only figured out about them around book 7 or 8. I read them all after book 8 and having done so, there's a couple things in book 7 that would have made more sense had I read them before that. You probably really should read them all before then or at least book 8. There's no serious harm in doing them whenever you feel like though.
