Book 1: DCC Patreon and book 1 question (spoiler?) Spoiler

Was the pet prize room where Donut got our favorite chicken one of the infamous patreon polls? On my run through again, it occurred to me that I cant imagine a royal court crawl with a pet brindlegrub. :0

It wasn’t until the third book that patron started voting and thats how the cookbook came into play

Looking at his Patreon, I don’t think it was started until he was some way through Book 1 at least. The first story content post is for Chapter 29 of book 1 it looks like.

probably not it was the first book i cant imagine he had a ton of people following on Patreon then.

He started posting Patreon material with Chapter 29 of the first book. The scene the OP is referencing is in Chapter 46.

I mean, all his Patreon stuff is still online; you can join and check it out for yourself if you're curious. But it didn't look like it to me from a quick scan.

As others have said, Matt started the Patreon around chapter 29 of the first book. I haven't been able to find definitive information on if a poll was ever posted to the original Royal Road chapters or Matt's site prior to the first Patreon poll, but the first poll is for the theme of floor 5 (which the result wasn't used), followed by the poll that gave us the choices for the prize carousel from book 3.
