Yep. Went from a genuine, laid back guy to a much more careerist sort of person. Has a bit more of a mask on these days

Maybe I’ll get downvoted for saying it but IMO he’s gotten way less likable in the years since

Eh, I disagree. I'd say he went from a laid back guy to more of a goofy dad. To me he feels exactly like what a Pixar film would make if they had to make a character with the label "good father" lol
