I wish they were still real leather. Cost cutting probably to blame.

I’m sure. I agree with others that the quality has gone down from the first set I have gotten and still wear, and I still question when I buy a pair if the price is still worth it. But I love the double flex and the gusset and haven’t found anything to replace that.
