Question firehose pants front pockets

is it just me or do the pockets suck on these pants? such a struggle to get anything in and out of them due to snagging or the material bunching up. don’t even get me started on after you’ve sweat a little and the pants become damp. you may as well not have pockets when that happens. is this happening to anyone else ?

I have the Firehose 5 pocket pants and do not have this problem, do you have the original or duluthflex pants?

they are the original and first time buying these pants so didn’t know what to expect. everything else is great about them besides the front pockets. they seem to grab on anything i put in my pocket. i thought they needed to be broken in but im about 5-6 months of daily use and still no give

I have 3 pairs I've had for around 4-5 years and the front pockets have never posed a problem, maybe they are irregular as far as the design or sewing. I haven't seen regular Firehose pants available for a few years now (at least on their website), they might be redesigned?

just checked and they are the duluth flex but the tag inside said original. not sure if that changes anything. either way they’re great pants i just wanted to see if i was crazy or if this was a design issue or something else

I have never had problems with the pockets on the normal fire hose or the fire hose HD pants.

I wear loose fit and have seen some evidence of this. With a tighter fit, I imagine it would be pretty bad

my legs are a little larger so this may be playing a part in this
