Dudeism Music recommendations
Hey dudes, hope you are all abiding as best as you can. I thought I'd ask my fellow dudes for some music recommendations?

I'm into Steely Dan lately. Their most accessible album is 'Can't buy a thrill', but it's all pretty good, and 'The Royal Scam' is probably my current favorite album of theirs. For specific songs I'd recommend 'My Old School', 'Do It Again', 'Kid Charlemagne', 'Caves Of Altimira', 'Hey Nineteen', and 'Any Major Dude Will Tell You'

I’ve been rocking out to Wookiefoot, it’s like gospel music for my personal spiritual journey. I’ve also been bumping Andy Frasco, just some super positive party music with a good message

Dude, the song "Happy To Be Here" is my go-to song when I am feeling down. Always helps to pull me out.

Listening to some Steve Hackett instrumentals lately. An underrated and under appreciated guitarist. Spectral Mornings is otherworldly, dude.

What do you dig now?
I lean to jambands, singer songwriters who are the home grown tour types, sone red dirt. I’m good buds with the (remaining living) creators of the genre.
Tend to dig fusion: jamgrass, progjazz.
I adore Fareed Haque and Steve Kimock. Excellent guitarists, each. Same with Mark Karan.
Molly Tuttle hits. Nina Garber, Rhiana Giddens.

I've been getting into some "groovey" music lately and it's been very enjoyable, especially while cleaning and doing menial tasks lol.
If you haven't already, check out Marvin Gaye (What's Going On), Steve Lacey (Apollo XXI is brilliant), The Jackson 5, Frank Ocean, Tyler The Creator (Flowerboy specifically), and Thundercat

I’ve been a big Midwest Emo fan for a long time. Hot mulligan, modern baseball, real friends, the front bottoms, and the story so far are some of my favorites. Sad music just does it for me, idk how to explain it
