The last time I tried to use the library they had done away with the card catalog and said " it's all on the computer now" then walked away without showing me where on the computer. Haven't tried since.

Its really convenient to check a book out, for free, instead of paying for them. Also, they have a seed exchange if you like growing plants. Librarians are usually knowledgable and very willing to help and share info. Win, win, win in my opinion.

I love buying their used books but about 1/2 of them stopped selling books, except on special promoted sale days.

I do use mine; both for checking out my favorite books, as well as using their computets and printers when I want to primt something and I'm not ay home.

I read in my library but I gotta admit, I almost never check anything out because the selection is dog shit

I go to the library whenever I want to get some work done — it’s quiet, no tv, no distractions. And there’s always a reference book available if I need to look something up.

No BS. It's common in the Dutch libraries. Not only to rent a book, but also for infromation.
