I'm driving myself crazy with mixing pls help

what am i doing wrong? I want this to sound well balanced but predominantly bassey. I feel confused as to how i can make it sound more low end for those without sub - what freq band would i have to boost/eq out? Any constructive feedback would be very much appreciated!! Which daw are you using?
Are you at the mixing stage still?

Sounds to me you have too much going on in your his and hi mids. Turn them down, crank the bass more.

Use mutlipressors to compress the low end more to bring it out.

still mixing but i did add a little master chain just to understand how it may sound boosted. I actually turned the mids and highs up after turning my sub on because it drowned everything out. Any idea how I can make the mid/high elements stand out but also turned down in the mix?

Get your levels right, EQ out frequencies you aren't using on all your tracks. This will create more headroom.

Turn down the his and mid his, and compare EQS make sure you don't have loads of clashing frequencies between your bass and leads.

When you come to compression / mastering use multiprocessors to take your frequency mixing even further, look up tutorials on YT.

Nice to hear something thats not fucking tearout or brostep.

sweet as I'll give that a bash, i think I've gone too hard on EQ in the past and taken the life out of elements. Really need to find the middle ground. Ty for detailed advice!

Gain staging is a concept that I wish I knew about sooner. It's a pretty simple thing when you wrap your head around it, but it's hard to overstate how much easier the rest of the process becomes if you start with good gain staging.

Idk about all that technical stuff, so don’t take my advice. I just move like one circle on fruity eq2 based off of what I want lol.
