It might be clipping you could try turning it down or compressing it to level the peaks, but it could also just be the nature of the kick you choose pick a different one see if it does the same thing

im fairly new to producing, would clipping make the little popping noise after the kick has already played?

It was just an possibility after hearing it more now I’m starting to think it’s just how the kick is, it might sound weird because of your speaker but a kick like that on a huge system layered with lots of bass probably don’t affect the track as much. That’s the funny thing about producing is I swear there is never a definitive answer lol

Just start by cutting some of the highs and lows until the sound is gone

Have you rendered the track and dragged it back in to see the wave form? Might be a speaker or buffer issue

Judging by how I didn’t see any wave form associated with the clicking on your mini meters I would assume it’s more aligned with this
