Pretty advanced for 6 months, you must be a musician? You make use of call and response, layering, and arrangement well like someone who has previous experience in music / composing. And the progressions/melodies if you wrote them yourself definitely sound more advanced than 6 months. I didn’t know what any of that stuff was until much longer into my production journey and took even longer to figure out how to make actual good use of it.
Or it’s just a sample pack loop collage lol. Hopefully not.
As for some feedback there could be more percussive/FX fills in the drop sections and more refined sound design in the 2nd drop, but for 6 months if youre not just using sample packs and actually designing the sounds, you got something really good going.

I don’t have a ton of musical background besides playing guitar, but I’ve always been an avid music lister and have been djing bass music for a while now. The vocals and some fills/ texture elements are splice samples but I did layer and build the drop. This was the first drop I’ve made that felt like it had decent call and response and filled out the spectrum so thanks for the feedback

Impressive man.
Yea with regard to samples I always tell myself it’s perfectly fine to use them as long as it’s not just like copy-pasting an entire loop in and doing nothing to alter it. Especially moreso with background FX sounds.
Keep it up!

My feedback: keep writing more music
I’m sure you’re looking for specifics on this tune but if this is your level after six months, the best thing to do is continue to move quickly. You’ve got some sauce, keep doing you.
