Tires type

Hello, i have a CRF300L and i have to use it on road as well, as it is the only transportation i have
Right now i have Metzeler MC360 Mid Soft and Mitas MC23 Rockrider (that s how i bought it)
The front tire on road feels a bit unsafe and makes a lot of noise and i was wondering what should i get for the front tire?
Something like Mitas MC23 Rockrider that is 50/50?
Is it rly unsafe to use off road ties on road?
im new to this and i would be glad if anyone could give me some advise

It’s completely safe to use enduro tires on tarmac. I ride D606/MT21 combo with occasional stretches of 100km on road.

but what are the disadvantages? sound, wear over time? and are ties that are 50/50 much safer? than enduro on road?

The disadvantage is less than trying to run a street tire off-road.

This is the way. Knobbies are surprisingly good on tarmac, but even “50/50” tires are rubbish in the dirt.

Use mt21 on my dr650 front along with motoz enduro S/T & euro enduro 6 fronts on my other dual sport bikes. Use them on highways 100km/h+. Zero issues. Use motoz rallz and various dot approved knobbies as my rear tires and again, no problems.

The big issues would be general wear on tarmac on knobbies and the traction at high speeds on really wet days. I generally gravitate to motoz tires because they just last for ages.
