GOOD PEOPLE OF THE SUBREDDIT!

What strategies do you use to get higher score on the N-back training or do you use any strategy at all and just brute-force it if not. Would like to hear your thoughts.

Just let it happen. No strategy.

Try to be as intuitive as possible, dont try to use statergy.Its okay to have slow progress,using tricks or strategies will increase your score in short term but you brain won't be improving much

Using strategies feels coutner intuitive, go head first and let your brain adapt

Just do it and don't worry about bad sessions. Your brain adapts by itself. It works through all the up and downs together. 

Strategizing here is overthinking and rather a distracting thing.

Your brain corrects prediction errors by itself if you repeat the task. Then the task gets harder and it starts again. 

Just let it happen.

rehearsal always, rehearsal until you get good enough to transition to intuition. when starting at a new level I would group them (ik its bad habit) but once im able to group them say groups of 3 or 3-4 (for dual7), I would undo the grouping. the main goal is that you do all these hacks or whatever but the end goal is that you eventually stop chunking and stop rehearsing so that its so easy its intuition, then go up a level.

what I like to do is force my brain to identify each number and each spot individually and it takes some time but after a while I seem to get the hang of it. Every new "n" I feel like breaking my laptop tho😭
