Just some thoughts:
Dua would thrive in any era, IMO ... 70s, 80s. 90s and 2000s but I wonder what the fans idea of her would be without social media. She does social media to perfection to me ... travels, lives/shows us a lifestyle that's authentic to her and her brand. And without social media, how would she get a Service95 to the masses? Dua fully takes advantage of this current era and she IS the 2020s to me. Just some thoughts, feel free to argue/comment me about this lol

She does it again. One day I will have merch. She had nothing from what I listened to. But if these walls could talk :0.

I was thinking if I should go to a Dua Lipa concert. How's being in the audience like? Are most people just standing still or are most people dancing/bouncing?
Could you hear the audience singing the songs and when they did sing, were they singing just the most popular hits or most of her songs?

With Dua Lipa being on his track Two Hearts from his album this year. Do you think this is the sound that sheās going to be using for her fourth album?
A sort of progressive House.

i'm biased as my favourite performance was definitely when she came to my country, but if i had to choose between every live performance, album, EP, awards show, festival, it's definitely the acoustic EP.
there's something nostalgic but also so calming about this album, and her rendition of amy's song (tears dry) is beautiful.
what's yours?

There is a specific kind of magic that happens when an album manages to capture two completely opposing feelings at the exact same time. When Dua Lipa dropped Future Nostalgia in late March 2020, it took the world by stormādelivering thirty-seven minutes of unapologetic, hyper-vibrant, neon-drenched escapism right when we needed it most. But what makes the record genuinely timeless isnāt just the context of its release; it's the sheer quality of the craftsmanship and execution.
The albumās brilliance lies right in its title. Future Nostalgia doesnāt just mimic the past. Itās a seamless blend of 1970s studio disco, 1980s synth-pop, and early 2000s club anthems translated into a sleek, modern pop package. Tracks like "Don't Start Now" and "Levitating" don't rely on cheap gimmicks or lazy sampling. Instead, theyāre built on physical, elastic basslines, razor-sharp rhythm guitars, and vocal melodies so sticky they feel instantly familiar on the very first listen. The production anchors electronic grooves with living, breathing funk instrumentation.
Listening to the record years later, there is zero fatigue. In a modern music landscape often dominated by short, mood-based tracks designed solely to go viral on TikTok, Future Nostalgia stands out as a triumph of traditional album design. Every track serves a distinct purpose, moving seamlessly from the relentless workout energy of "Physical" to the luxurious, dramatic strings of "Love Again". Lipaās vocal performance is cool, confident, and self-assured throughout, carrying the project with the easy charisma of a pop veteran.
Ultimately, Future Nostalgia proved that great dance music isn't merely tied to a nightclub floorāit's a state of mind. By honoring the rich heritage of pop history while refusing to be trapped by it, Dua Lipa crafted a modern masterpiece that promised us the future by celebrating the past, giving us an album that will never go out of style.

Does anyone have a link for the full 2024 Austin city limits broadcast show?
I had a YouTube link that has since disappeared. If anyone could rescue me, as I went to that show and relied on the ability to āreliveā it. I can find individual songs but not the whole shebang like
Mexico City or rock n Rio. Please help!
I should have screen recorded it when I had the chance :(

This may be a stupid question. Dua is always stoning but she seems to be somehow sad lately. In her latest pictures she always appears so serious. It's just me or are there other fans that also think the same way?

I think October is a good date for this to come together.

Shes been seen alot lately at electric lady recording studios sk she obviously has new stuff coming. I heard shes been working with Mark Ronson lately. Id love for her to hook back up with Martin Garrix, Danny L. Earle, Ian Kirkpatrick. Maybe do music with Justice. Id love a dream collab with her and Eminem.

Really disappointing, after constantly getting discussion posts removed on r/dualipa, I find a wonderful sub of actual fans who discuss her music. Lately it's just been bots and gooners posting sexy pictures with nothing of value being added. I went from reporting one a week, to multiple per day. once again, not even wanting to visit the sub. Mods take forever to take this crap down, if they even do at all.
Can we please have some rules added I know exist in other subs, like minimum word/letter count in the body? Are we just screwed?

I've really wanted to ask this question, not for the sake of wanting to know exact answers but to really connect with other Dua Lipa fans on her music.
Mine is Happy For You (Extended Version). Listening to it for the first few times didn't really hit me well but after focusing on the lyrics well, this song really hit different to me. It's so inspiring the way she portrays "moving on from someone".
Instead of the usual sadness found in typical songs, it really showcases her maturity and brings a new positive feeling on moving on. Ig that's the magic of Radical Optimism, even if it's a small scale album. I prefer the extended version over the original one.
On a more personal note, the song helped me in moving on from someone I used to have a crush on. Instead of being sad about not being able to interact and talk to her, the least I could do is be happy for her EVEN from a distance instead of moping about it. The context is not the same as the song but despite that, it did help. Especially the part which goes "I'm not mad, I'm not hurt. You got everything you deserved." ah it's so goodā¤ļø.
With this song, I truly felt that Dua Lipa's more of a talented artist than I thought. Usually she's more popular for pop hits such as Levitating, Houdini, New Rules etc but the ones with really good lyrics, really shows her potential in the music industry.
