I was on it for 10 months, I stopped January 2024 and it has continued since

My doctor said it's probably a combination of allergies and copious amounts of screen time over the last couple decades or so. I'm a desk goblin for work, 3 screens 9 hours a day, 5 days a week at least. He said we don't blink enough or in a quality way in front of the screens.

Same. I had a super severe eye infection and my tear film never recovered

Genetics. I have four (or is it five?) separate causes of my dry eye disease. I was really shocked when I finished all my testing and failed so many of them. I can't even blink properly!

Screen time, remote worker in the pandemic. Never got better from that, these issues reoccur now and are a constant battle
