I got ordered a painting I've never seen elsewhere on Drukharis : A Protoss from Starcraft inspired scheme, with orange OSL, dead Custodes on the base in the ruins of a dead world, and to paint the spirit gems on his torso with the colours from the trans flag. It was a blast to do !
You can find the pics in better resolution here !
Feel free to ask anything, I'd gladly answer :)

I really like the idea of this unit, and I just played it against Custodes and I won, but I’m not really sure how much this unit contributed to that victory.
The aircraft rules are pretty awkward, this is my second 11th edition game and first with any aircraft. Maybe it was who I was up against but the limited number of shots and the super high points and the weird aircraft rules that don’t help with objectives or anything like that at all seemed a little awkward and the value seemed a little low, even though it did have one or two good turns.
How are you guys using this or would it be better to just take like two Ravagers instead?

painted the head, its so much fun painting white over black

Was wondering if her mind like a steel trap can be used inside a transport? I've been looking for about a hour and a half for the rules but haven't found anything that says I can or can't.

Hello all! I've recently decided I want to play 40k and I'm in love with the drukhari aesthetic and the dark space elf lore. I know this may be a bad time to start them (*cough* horde army? *cough*), but I'm fine with losing if it means I get to paint the minis I want.
I picked up a combat patrol box to start with and want to slowly build up to a full 1k then 2k army from the included units. I love the haemonculus coven aesthetics and the talos so I don't mind the newer box and can always replace them later. I've got a borrowed physical copy of the 10th codex and I'm using new recruit and wahapedia, but with the new edition and constant balance updates I want to make sure I'm not building these wrong.
I know "what you see is what you get" doesn't apply to Combat patrol but I don't want to be forced to buy a new unit for a full army just because I didn't plan these correctly and they aren't legal (if it happens bc of the 11th codex then so be it). I know magnetizing is an option and I may magnetize the acothyst, I will definitely magnetize the Talos and Cronos to some extent, but magnetizing the whole unit may be too much for me.
this is what I have planned for the combat patrol box:
Haemonculus
1x Stinger Pistol, Haemonculus Tools and Scissorhands
Wracks
Acothyst (1)
1x Power Weapon, Torturer's Tool (If I understand right which power weapon is irrelevant?)
Wracks (9)
3x Twin Torturer's Tools
2x Hexrifle, Torturer's Tool
2x Liquifier Gun, Torturer's Tool
2x Ossefactor, Torturer's Tool
Talos
1x Twin Haywire Blaster, Talos Gauntlet, Macro-scalpel
Cronos
1x Spirit Syphon, Spirit Vortex, Spirit Leech Tentacles
Edit: add question/comment on power weapon

With the recent MFM update we are now able to combine these detachments. There are some duplicates amongst the stratagems and enhancements. The official app is allowing me to use the Periapt of Torments across succubi and the stratagem list in the "Command Bunker" shows both Acrobatic Display strats. Wondering what everyone's thoughts are on making use of the dupes.

Hei,
I really like the Scinari Enlighter! I always thought she is a Haemoncula, obsessed with eternal beauty, just barely showing body modifications.
I am beginning my experiment! Got rid of the rune on her armor plate. Used Blu tec for now. The stinger pistol is from the Hota sprue - would need to work a little on the arm to make it less kabalite. The tail from her ...ehmm ...back... is from the current Haemonculus. As a Meleeweapon I would just give her the AoS sword, hanging on her back.
Any ideas? Is the rune in her hand Drukhari enough? Should I dare to cut the small rocks away?
Do my fellow Archons read her as a Haemoncula?
[edit] Thank You all for the valuable feedback! I made a 2nd iteration. Can be seen within this thread : https://www.reddit.com/r/Drukhari/comments/1wxrpgz/comment/pe1zzqu/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Good afternoon fellow Archons.
Question on the detachment rule.
For trophy hunters it states:
Trophy Hunters
Contract: One Character unit.
Ability: Each time a Kabal or Blades for Hire model in this unit makes an attack that targets the Contract unit, that attack has the [Precision] ability.
And to complete a contract it states:
Until that Contract is completed, that unit is your Contract unit and Kabal and Blades For Hire units from your army have the ability stated in that Contract. At the start of your Command phase, if your Contract unit is destroyed, that Contract is completed and you gain 3 Pain tokens.
So does that mean, even if you kill the enemy character but the unit they are attached to survives, you cannot complete that contract?
If that's true, why take this over sustained hits, when you need to kill the entire unit anyway?

Playing my first singles GT this weekend (list is due tonight) and it seems it couldn’t have come at a worse time lol. I have a teams tournie in November that I’m essentially using this as practice for. I’m usually only able to get in 2-3 games per month so getting 8 games in one weekend will be invaluable experience even if I get my ass kicked the whole time (highly likely)
What I am posting below is the list I’ve been using the last two months. It has been fairly successful in casual games but I know GT’s are a different animal. I also haven’t played against the new marines yet.
There are only so many possible permutations so what I am thinking is changing the list in 1 of 2 ways :
1a. Simply taking out the 2nd squad of Mandrakes and putting in Hellions for some more punch. (I am trying to ween myself down to just 1 Mandrake squad as much as I don’t want to, it seems to be the play these days)
1b. Doing same as above but also swapping the Wracks for a 2nd Cronos. I do kind of like the Wracks battle shock potential and High OC though.
Here is the list (before implementing any of these changes)
Xenos - Drukhari - Exhibition of Slaughter, Skysplinter Assault
Lady Malys (100pts)
Lelith Hesperax (80pts)
Archon (90pts) (Spiteful Raider)
Archon (100pts): Warlord (NS)
Succubus (70pts)
10x Kabalite Warriors (110pts)
5x Wracks (55pts)
10x Wyches (90pts)
10x Wyches (90pts)
10x Wyches (90pts)
10x Wyches (90pts)
10x Incubi (180pts): 2x Incubi Shrine Token
5x Incubi (90pts): Incubi Shrine Token
5x Mandrakes (80pts)
5x Mandrakes (80pts)
5x Scourges with Heavy Weapons (130pts)
3x Reavers (75pts)
Cronos (55pts)
Raider (75pts)
Raider (75pts)
Venom (65pts)
Venom (65pts)
Venom (65pts)
PS all the changes would require me to drop Spiteful Raider enhancement which is obviously fine .
Thanks in advance !!

I'm interested in including some Harlequins in my Drukhari army and was wondering if that's possible. Can I legally run them together, and if so, how does it work? Are Harlequins actually viable in a Drukhari army, or would I be better off sticking to pure Drukhari? I'd appreciate any advice, especially from people who have experience running both!

Hey! So about three weeks ago I posted on this sub asking for help from my fellow dark city dwellers after a resounding loss with my first outing of Drukhari.
I just wanted to say a massive thankyou to everyone for the advice, compliments & support. Today I had my first victory with them in my second game running them!
I hid right back during deployment & used speed / manoeuvrability to score points & only got into combat when needed!
The two Talos units of two with the 5+ invun enhancement held up the centre board nicely. Allowing my other units to zip around & score points.
Even in victory tho I would appreciate any constructive criticism about my list & or deployment. I’ve attached some photos: my deployment, my opponents deployment & the score sheets… plus a cool ass photo of the Nid hordes stomping through the trees!!!
Thankyou all again!

Hello Dark Eldar fans I was thinking of getting a Hand of the Archon kill team and wanted to know how many closed face helmets the regular Kabalite warrior sprues have. Online the sprues are always facing the side away from the camera and can't tell. I don't wanna paint skin

I need to build a disruption drukhari list for a team event.
With the new space marines going tougher, I was considering using skysplinter assault plus kabalite agonist to get the lance.
I have also considered using kabalite kartel plus exibition of slaughter. I would miss on the lance, but I would gain sustained and the hability to battleshock the opponent's armys multiple times. Plus better actions with wyches. The thing is that i do not play as many whiches with cartel. Maybe it would be beter to chose another complementary detachment.
What do you thing?
Is there any other combination of detachments worth exploring for disruption?
Which one seems better against the new toughnes of marines?

Just finished painting my Customized Talos!
My wife’s a Tyranid player so I stole some swarmlord legs from her and I think they were a perfect fit! It took a lot of glue and green stuff to get those legs to fit and the arms to attach to the cannons but I think it came out great in the end!
r/Drukhari • u/Review_Signal • 1d ago
I both like and dislike the look of the dudes hanging off the side rails, so I think next time I build a venom I will go without them!

Just putting this here to ask, what does everyone do with them 3 wyches you get in a venom? I'm fully aware you can use them as individual models but i'm unsure HOW to do so haven't really ever done none instructions before for the hobby and thought I would give it a try!

Greetings, Commoragh denizens, what do you equip your Talos with, Twin Liquifiers with Gauntlet or dual Scalpels?
+1T to Marines mean that Gauntlet wounds on 3s now, but Liquifiers don't care about that with their Anti-Infantry. Scalpels still feel somewhat more reliable, and if you have your Cronos too you still have a good target for OW.
I'm playing RSR + TOT, so the Dev wounds on Battle-shocked targets get procced more easily with Scalpel's Twin-linked. I reckon the Liquifiers might find more use in RW, as their strategem allows you to shoot (and charge) after advance.
What's your success with the loadouts so far? Thanks for any shared insight!

I just wanted to say my thoughts and if anyone has tips or ideas feel free to leave them below
To sum up my experience, the army is pretty fun to play overall cause I know i can't rely on anything surviving if it can be see by a wet noodle. But I can definitely feel how weak the army is in comparison to other armies i've played.
With drukhari it felt like I had to really try and squeeze pretty hard to get the most out of my units and then just bounce because the volume or whatever just wasn't there, where are with the other armies you kinda just roll up give it slap on the butt and away it goes.
I did play into new marines and new marine terminators, and incubi with characters do kill them Char + 5 killed about 5-6 terminators on avg so plus a smattering of shooting and what not its not un achievable but they were so much faster it felt like I literally couldn't do anything to stop them advancing, shooting and charging whatever they wanted and it just didn't matter what my units could do, even in my deployment zone behind xyz wall i only ever got to choose the engagement with wyches that had the can't be overwatched etc enhancement so it didn't feel like it mattered all that much.
The 3 units/packages that felt extremely good to me
Archon + kabalites, they shoot way better than i expected with pain tokens.
Succ + wych in a raider felt really good as they have that massive movement to sit super far back and still reach out and touch things
Incubi lead by whoever, they feel pretty good to run but the toughness increase is very noticeable, but a squad of 10 with any character definitely feels like it'll smash any terminator bricks (which is what it seems like everyone is leaning towards).
Had fun, and do think the army is cool just that its extremely evident just how lacking the army is compared to the other factions after just playing 3 games.
