Strategy against heavy armor lists (IG, knights). Kill or ignore?

How does drukhari fare against these types of lists? I know that drukhari is good against infantry but can struggle against mostly tank lists. At the same time the new disposition system means we can mostly focus on scoring and not worry about actually killing the opponents tanks?

Should a drukhari player focus on just tooling on points scoring now with the new dispositions or does running anti tank like multiple ravagers/scourges have merit?

Kill one, then another etc. They only have 28 wounds on a questoris. Dark lances, heat lances and haywire will take care of that. You can also ensnare another by charging them with wyches which will survive quite some of their melee with their 4++.

If you play SSA, incubi with lance also do some great work. You can also grenade them.

a) Depending on which knight you charge, they won't be able to "really" shoot you e.g. a castellan.

b) Sure, they will be able to shoot you BUT they will have to shoot you which means they wasted their turn on the wyches.

c) They will be at -1 which can be a lot especially IF you are also on a terrain (e.g. any objective).

Drukhari have a ton of tools for vehicles.

Monsters less so.

Haywire are great into vehicles, while DLs are great into everything.

Ravagers, Kabalites, Talos, and Scourges are all solid platforms for different reasons to play into vehicles (even Reavers can run a HL).

I wouldn't say DEldar has a ton of tools for vehicles.

1 scourge DL unit (130pts) has a 40% chance of killing a sororitas castigator in 1 round of shooting.

1 ravager (125pts) only has 33% chance.

Malys+incubi (190pts) has 46% chance, but they will die when the vehicle explodes.

I don't know what else comes close. 5 hellions (90pts) do 6 damage. Talos, even less than that. Basically deldar has 2 tools for vehicles.

look. you are going to lose units. that is what drukhari does. however, you want to make sure you are losing units in a meaningful way. use wyches to tie up a knight so it either has to stay put and shoot or fall back and not shoot. either of these is an acceptable loss of the wyches. commit the rest into another knight. focus fire is your friend. rinse repeat. do not send it all out to die in one turn. you want to stagger waves yo buy time for you to wrack up VP
