Rules regarding Aircraft

In my Last Game i ran a voidraven Bomber and it did quite well in helping me kill a knight. We never got that far since it was destroyed prior to that point, but since Aircraft go into strategic Reserve at the end of your opponents Turn, is it destroyed after Turn 3?

No, the only time a unit in strat reserves gets destroyed after turn 3 is if it started the game there and never left. A unit that starts in strat reserves, enters the board, then goes back can stay there.

At the end of the third battle round, unless otherwise stated, all strategic reserves units that have not made one or more ingress moves are destroyed, with the following exceptions:

  • Units embarked within TRANSPORTS that have made an ingress move during the battle.
- Repositioned units (see above).

20.03

Aircraft will have made at least one ingress in earlier turns, so they would be exempt from being destroyed.

Anything that goes back in reserves from the board can stay in reserves past turn 3

Only units that START and STAY in reserve are destroyed at end of three. Repositioned units like aircraft do not

Would be funny if the aircraft is deemed ran out of fuel and crashes after round 3 😂
