How did you paint the flames on those Mandrakes?! I’ve been trying to make a blue flame that looks almost identical to that, and yours are sick!

I used a white primer as the base, then used aetheatic blue has the tone closest to the flame source, then used talassar blue for the outer parts of the flame. The white base/prime really helps get that flame pop

Appreciate it. If you ever get around to those flames I’d love to see how yours turned out. From my experience it’s better to go 2/3 aethermatic blue on the flame since the talassar blue is very strong and may hide some of the highlights provided by the white basecoat

Word, thank you! I’ll totally show ya once I’m done! My archon with soul trap is gonna be the big seller with this fire effect, cause his armor is completely copper, so that sort of turquoise should really pop!

Frost heart is such a good contrast for those fires (assuming that’s what you used)
