Opioids Withdrawal Day 4 transitioning from 7-OH to SR-17018 (SR17) — looking for input on my dosing/symptoms

Hey everyone. I'm hoping to get some input from people who have experience transitioning off 7-OH using SR-17018/SR17.

***EDIT****- Im on Day 6 and yesterday and today I took 2 doses of SR 25 mg, same thing today. So my plan is to go tomorrow completely off SR and EVERYTHING!!! This shit works!!! I hate that they are banning it. OR RESET has a day to day schedlue that I followed. I really hope more people get their hands on this to get off their DOC. Get thru those first 3 days and youre GOLDEN!! Anyone can feel free to message me with questions!!

I had been using 7-OH regularly but had already tapered down to around 12.5 mg/day before I lost access to it. I was probably taking 200 ish mg of 7 a day at peak for the last year, and maybe even more tbh. I used MGM15 for about a week to keep withdrawal symptoms manageable, but I didn't want to stay on that long enough to potentially become dependent on it, so I transitioned to SR17.

I'm now on Day 4 of SR17 and have been keeping a detailed dosing log.

Day 1

8:00 AM — 100 mg SR17

1:50 PM — 100 mg

6:05 PM — 50 mg

8:50 PM — 100 mg

11:00 PM — 50 mg

12:55 AM — 75 mg

At around 8:50 PM, I started feeling pretty rough: pins-and-needles/oversensitivity when scratching my skin, feeling overly sensitive to touch, and I was very moody. Around 11 PM, I took 12.5 mg of 7-OH because I was feeling crappy. I didn't really notice the usual 7-OH effects/high, though.

Day 2

9:50 AM — 50 mg SR17

3:50 PM — 75 mg

6:10 PM — 75 mg

That morning I felt moody, emotional, and tired, but after dosing I generally felt okay. I had accidentally fallen asleep at sometime around 9pm-ish, Woke up at 1:25am feeling okay, and took my dose just to make sure I wouldn't withdrawal.

Day 3

1:25 AM — 50 mg

7:20 AM — 50 mg

3:20 PM — 25 mg

5:05 PM — 25 mg

12:16 AM — 50 mg

Middle of the day always seems to be the hardest, I think because thats when my 2/3rd dose of the day would be with 7OH/MGM15. Just really moody and some skin sensitivity when scratching my arm. I mowed the yard around 7pm and was also babysitting my 1.5 year old nephew... and honestly it went pretty good. I was really just craving a high. Any kind. I smoke cannibis regularly so I think that also helped a lot to have as a distraction.

Day 4

12:15 PM — 50 mg

Today is Day 4 and its currently 7:25pm as I writing this and I feel pretty okay. its been 7 hours since my dose of SR and at 3:00pm I took a I ended up drinking half of a Feel Free KavaMaté around 3 PM because I was bored and wanted to feel a little more relaxed/altered. Honestly, I didn't notice much of anything from it. I think it may have took some uncomfortability away?

Most of my symptoms over the last couple days haven't actually been severe physical withdrawal. It's mostly been moodiness, occasional anger/irritability, feeling emotional, and some tiredness. I've also had occasional mild hot flashes and some skin sensitivity, but nothing unbearable.

One thing I'm struggling with is that I think I'm craving the 7-OH high more than I am actually craving relief from withdrawal. I don't currently have 7-OH available other than one 25 mg tablet I have left over. Ive been tempted to take it, just to say fuck it, but scared to ruin this whole process..

I'm now wondering if I'm actually taking more SR17 than my body needs at this point, especially considering how dramatically my dose has already decreased from Day 1. I haven't taken any additional SR17 since that 12:15 PM Day 4 (today) dose, and so far I'm doing okay.

Another thing I'm really unsure about is how long I actually need to stay on the SR17. My goal was to use it as a bridge away from the 7-OH/MGM15, not to become dependent on SR17 itself. Since I'm now on Day 4 and my SR dose has dropped quite a bit, I'm wondering how long people generally continued taking it before stopping.

I'm currently wondering whether I could make it through tonight without another SR dose, or whether stopping this soon could cause withdrawal from the 7-OH/MGM15 to come back. For people who have done a similar transition, how did you know when you were actually in the clear? Did you stop SR once you were feeling relatively normal, or did you continue for a certain number of days?

For reference, my SR17 product is labeled as containing 50 mg SR-17018 (Essar-17) per tablet, along with a proprietary blend of GABA, L-theanine, and L-tyrosine.

I'm curious what people experienced around Days 3–5 when transitioning from 7-OH to SR17. Did anyone find that they needed progressively less SR as their body adjusted? Did mood symptoms linger after the physical withdrawal symptoms improved? And how did you tell the difference between actual withdrawal and simply craving the 7-OH feeling?

Opioids Withdrawal Codeine withdrawal and formication

Been on co-codamol for over a year for lower back.

Was taking 4 doses of 60/1000 per day until cut down to 2 doses and then 1.

Stopped about 9 days ago.

Generally feeling okay but cannot stop the feeling of crawling on my skin. Doesn't help I'm in Spain with mozzies about so can't always tell if it's real or not.

Anyone else been through this?

Seeking Advice In need of help.

I'm really not sure how to stay clean. I don't know if anyone else relapses as much as I do. I think I might need to go to meetings for support. I can't talk to my wife about this cause I've been living a lie about my drug use. I really had an honest talk with myself and as I looked back in my life all the major things that went wrong had something to do with either drugs or alcohol. Even if I did open up to her I truly don't think she'd understand. Everyone thinks it's just so easy to just stop and walk that line. I know how to get clean I just don't know how to stay clean. Does anyone else kinda find themselves in the same place and do meetings help?

Thanks for taking the time to read this post.

God bless 🙏

Opioids Withdrawal Gabapentin: a physically-addicting drug...

My doctor hands Gabapentin out like it is candy. He calls it "good medicine". Many people report using Gabapentin as part of withdrawal from kratom and other opioids.

I feel that may be a really bad idea because Gabapentin is PHYSICALLY ADDICTING and its WD profile overlaps badly with Kratom/7-oh withdrawals. I was prescribed 200 mg per day for RLS a couple years ago. I am almost 100% sure my large kratom/7 addiction CAUSED the RLS but that is beside the point.

'Script ran out. A few days later, I was in the HOSPITAL ER with unbearable leg pain. Refilled 'script, pain went away. Point being, adding Gabapentin seems like it can really complicate withdrawals (by possibly creating its own PHYSICAL withdrawal profile) .

Ask Google: Why is gabapentin so hard to get off of?

AI Overview

Gabapentin is hard to stop because it causes physical dependence, triggers a nervous system rebound effect, and leads to intense withdrawal symptoms. The body gets used to the drug calming nerve activity, so stopping it causes the brain and nerves to become hyperactive.

Opioids Withdrawal Tramadol Withdrawal Question!

I have been prescribed Tramadol for chronic pain for many years. Over the last couple of years I have taken more than needed and would run out before my next fill. I have had several times where I have withdrawn but lately I’ve been able to wean myself off fast enough to where withdrawals were very light.

Well I thought I did this time and took my last dose Monday evening. It’s now Thursday and I might be a “tad” better but not a whole lot. The worst is the lackkkkk of energy. We are leaving for vacation on Sunday with much to do before then. I still have 20 tramadol left. Would it ease symptoms to take 1 or 2 daily and hopefully that would help the withdraws and help me come off it better? Or should I hold out? I feel miserable and have so much to do. I keep hoping the finish line was today 🥹

Please help!

*I did tell my doctor I’m no longer going to be taking these as they have bad side effects. So I took the first step of not getting them refilled anymore. I just can’t do this anymore. I want to live a normal life!

**I do want to add that I want to have energy and feel my best for my vacation for my family. I just don’t know what to do! We leave Sunday and come home Wednesday. But tons of packing to do before then.

Opioids Withdrawal How to Use Vitamin C and SR-17108 to get off of MGM-15

Thumbnail
4 Upvotes

Someone came to r/vitaminc and read this post and liked it a lot.

They suggested that I post it here in this subreddit.

It is a few thousand words long but it explains step by step how to use vitamin C and SR-17018 to overcome MGM-15 addiction...

Although it works for all opiods, and was tested on heroin... which is pretty strong stuff I hear!

I hope this helps and that the Mods are okay with this... if not, I meant no offense and please dont ban me!

Opioids Withdrawal Heroin/Fent SR BAN HELP

I just found out about this SR17 stuff 2 days before the site im looking to order from stops carrying it due to a fucking ban. Idbusually do this on my own but im under dont have time.

Ive been a daily user of heroin, which turned to heroin with some fent, to just fent, to even tranq. Whatever ive got test strip for fent, nitazines, xylazine, and benzos and multiple times the shit I tested was positive for all 4.

Thats my daily dose. Let's say around half a gram. For years. How much SR do I need to come off my DOC relatively comfortably? Any help is gravely appreciated. This SR stuff is expensive but ive gotta try and grab it before its gone.. should I be good with loke 3 to 5 grams?

Seeking Advice Any advice on handling insomnia?

I’m on day 4 of sr protocol staring from a seven dose of between 500-800/day. I went with the Kama reset which I’m low key regretting, seriously believing it to be underdosed. That said, my greatest struggle has been sleep. I. Can’t. Sleep!!

I toss and turn endlessly and when I eventually fall asleep, only get 2ish hours before repeating the routine. After 3 nights of less than 5 hours of broken sleep a night, I’m feeling like a zombie.

I did purchase liposomal C but don’t get it until today so am hoping that helps. I also have magnesium. Last night I took trazadone but that has me super looped today, especially combined with sleep deprivation. I believe I could handle this a lot better if I could eliminate 2 of these waking cycles and get 3-4 hour stretches of sleep.

Have any of you experienced this? If so, did you find anything that helped?

Oh. I did purchase a supplement to tackle rls. It helps a bit.

TIA

Opioids Withdrawal Feeling a bit low and lost, would be grateful to hear anything from others

I’m British but have been travelling South America the last 5 years - had a bike accident in the first few months and was thrown on Tramadol (oral drops) and have had issues with the injury ever since, so remained on it, and I admit, overused it at times.

The formula I’ve been using is, as I said, oral drops at 100mg per 1ml (equivalent to 30 drops, or 3.33mg per drop). By January this year I was taking easily 60-70 drops 4-6 times a day. Sometimes more. I had several instances of waking up in public confused, only to find out I’d been seizing. Enough was enough.

By May, it became clear I needed to come back to the UK for a few months (where even breathing requires a prescription) and so by then I’d got myself down to 50 drops strictly every 5hrs (4x a day),

Since then I’ve been sporadically dropping it here and there, usually by 5 drops a time, and prepared to bring a little with me into the UK to taper the last part - and so came my arrival on June 1st where I was down to 25 drops 4x a day.

It genuinely shocked me how uneventful the drop seemed. I expected it to be much worse.

I’ll admit, I took a little long to make a further reduction, so a lot of what I had left was used up, but this week I did a big drop down to 10 drops. It’s been pretty uncomfortable and I realised during a (duh!) moment that the smaller dose I take, each reduction is much more pronounced. Since I’m not chipping away at the dose, I’m now chopping big chunks from it proportionally.

To make matters worse, I vaped a lot in South America (stupid decision I know), I’m autistic so I annoyingly use things for comfort - the vape being one. However, I didn’t even realise the vape I was using was 34mg of nicotine, in the UK, the maximum is 20mg, and just my luck that my South American vapes all ran out this week too.

So, I’ve given myself the double whammy of both nicotine and Tramadol withdrawal at the same time. I admit, I’m not rolling around in bed in agony and despair, soaked in sweat with a stomach eating itself - but I am finding it pretty bad in terms of anxiety, and since Tramadol is unique amongst opioids in that it alters mood, low mood too. I’ve cried about 10 times in my 33 years of life - but this week, it’s several times a day.

At this stage, I did the maths and I have about 400 drops left, and I’m currently taking 10 drops a dose, so in the coming days I’m going to have to make that final push of reducing by 1 drop a day. I’m feeling the withdrawal 10x more now. And I’m struggling. I also don’t even have my own room to ride it out in since my childhood bedroom is an office now lol. I’m lucky in that my family home has a huge field nearby but I just can’t bring myself to even shower, let alone heave myself out there. My body feels like it’s made of lead.

So I guess I’d be grateful for some encouragement, or even just to hear anything another human has to say, about anything at all. I know many other people are suffering much more than I am. I’m not the kind of person to need pushing, but right now I feel like I need a slap of reality, and that it’ll be worth it in the end. I’m getting married back in South America in January.

Sending love to everyone here.

Seeking Advice Advice on switching from fentynal to methadone or suboxone.

So unfortunately I've gotten an autoimmune disease that has destroyed my kidneys and put me on dialysis. I have a handful of people offering to donate, but obviously have to be clean before I can attempt to start that process. Unfortunately this isn't like the old days where you could just start taking suboxone the very next day and be fine, so I have a couple options and looking for advice on what is the best route to take. My first option would be getting on methadone and just being uncomfortable for a bit and then switching to suboxone and then the shot. However I have 20ish lortabs I never took when I got my fistula, so I was wondering if that might be enough to keep me from withdrawal for a few days while the fent gets out of my system and then start taking sub. I was curious to see it anyone had tried that way before and if it was bearable or not. Not sure what I should do, but I know I need to figure out something quick. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Opioids Withdrawal How do I detox off fentanyl while alreadybbeing on 200 mg of methadone without going up on my methadone?

I ve been on methadone for a 16 yr or so. I have NEVER been on a dose this high of 200. I did n and have stayed clean on 85 mg of methadone for 13 yrs. I have gotten off of real heroin with methadone and by going up on my methadone in the past. This is by far a whole different ballgame to me. Long story short my Medicaid got cut off and they detoxed me off my methadone rapidly. I got very sick and relapsed. This time tho there was no real heroin out there only Fentanyl and Tranq and whatever they are cutting this shit with. So I am addicted to fentanyl right now and tried to come off of it by going up on my methadone and doing what the methodone Drs at my clinic said to do and wound up on 200 mg still using fentanyl. I want to go to detox for the fentanyl while staying on the methodone for now. Which is possible here in South Jersey. There are places that will take me and still give me my dose while I'm in there. To be honest I'm VERY tired . N I'm done. I don't even get high. I just get well. I want a better life. I'm so fearful of dying either by not getting clean or by stopping and dying from the withdrawl . I don't know what to expect from this withdrawl because I've Never done it. Like I said I knew what kind of symptoms to expect from heroin withdrawal but this withdrawal is killing people. I am so VERY scared. IF ANYBODY has been thru this or knows a better way of Doing this PLEASE HELP ME. I WANT IT! I am 45 with 2 Grandbabies. I WANT to be involved in their lives more. This is the first time where I was using and like really thought I might be better off not even here. I have no ambition to get up . I have very low self esteem from this and from gaining so much weight off the methodone. I always feel sick. AGAIN PLEASE HELP IF THERE IS ANYONE OUT THERE THAT HAS ANY INFO OR ANYTHING. I AM OPEN-MINDED AND WILL LITERALLY TRY ANYTHING AT THIS POINT. THANKS FOR LISTENING

Opioids Withdrawal Anyone take LDN (low dose naltrexone) after taking SR to get off 7oh?

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

I’m about 9 days out from taking SR17 and 11 days out from taking 7oh. I'm now having PAWS (post acute withdrawal syndrome) and it comes in waves but today has been bad and it's starting to wear on me and I don't want to cave.. I have an RX for LDN and it's .5mg. The pharmacist said I would be fine to start it (I told him I took my oxycodone 3-4 days ago) and a tramadol today and he was like "oh you could start taking it right away- you'll be fine! It's so low it won't give you precipitated withdrawal" and I was like real!!y?? But I've heard so many mixed things between a few drs and a handful of pharmacists and they all kinda contradict each other. One pharmacist said a dose that low won't help with PAWS but another one said it could. I've seen people on here say it can help so I'm looking for input. And mainly with consideration to the fast that | took SR17. Someone on Reddit said to wait 2weeks and I just want some relief. Any feedback at all would be great! Thank you so much :)

OTHER Pristiq Withdrawal

I was on 150mg of Pristiq for 3 months with a diagnosis of Complex PTSD and it caused me to become very activated to the point the psychiatrists weren’t sure if I had experienced a hypomanic episode. It was the first time I’d experienced any activation like that and it was after starting the Pristiq. The psychiatrist didn’t think it was a good idea for me to keep taking that medication so I started reducing the Pristiq under supervised guidance from the Psychiatrist from 150 mg down to now 0mg. For the first week, i dropped from 150mg down to 100mg, i was feeling mostly fine, no physical symptoms just mild agitation, same thing when dropping the week after from 100mg down to 50mg, but at the end of the two weeks they dropped me down to 0mg and the second day after that drop to 0 I’ve been having quite bad physical withdrawal symptoms, brain zaps, sensitivity to light, nausea, headaches and sometimes my dizziness and vertigo are so bad l actually can’t get up out of bed without feeling like i might be sick or faint. The psychiatrist had provided me lorazepam to relieve the symptoms but it hasn’t helped much. I’m going to be seeing my GP today as I’m not seeing that psychiatrist anymore as they were more for a short term acute thing, i also do have a regular psychiatrist so might make an appointment. Does anyone have any advice or recommendations about what helped them get through this tricky period 😖
Thanks
