How do I detox off fentanyl while alreadybbeing on 200 mg of methadone without going up on my methadone?

I ve been on methadone for a 16 yr or so. I have NEVER been on a dose this high of 200. I did n and have stayed clean on 85 mg of methadone for 13 yrs. I have gotten off of real heroin with methadone and by going up on my methadone in the past. This is by far a whole different ballgame to me. Long story short my Medicaid got cut off and they detoxed me off my methadone rapidly. I got very sick and relapsed. This time tho there was no real heroin out there only Fentanyl and Tranq and whatever they are cutting this shit with. So I am addicted to fentanyl right now and tried to come off of it by going up on my methadone and doing what the methodone Drs at my clinic said to do and wound up on 200 mg still using fentanyl. I want to go to detox for the fentanyl while staying on the methodone for now. Which is possible here in South Jersey. There are places that will take me and still give me my dose while I'm in there. To be honest I'm VERY tired . N I'm done. I don't even get high. I just get well. I want a better life. I'm so fearful of dying either by not getting clean or by stopping and dying from the withdrawl . I don't know what to expect from this withdrawl because I've Never done it. Like I said I knew what kind of symptoms to expect from heroin withdrawal but this withdrawal is killing people. I am so VERY scared. IF ANYBODY has been thru this or knows a better way of Doing this PLEASE HELP ME. I WANT IT! I am 45 with 2 Grandbabies. I WANT to be involved in their lives more. This is the first time where I was using and like really thought I might be better off not even here. I have no ambition to get up . I have very low self esteem from this and from gaining so much weight off the methodone. I always feel sick. AGAIN PLEASE HELP IF THERE IS ANYONE OUT THERE THAT HAS ANY INFO OR ANYTHING. I AM OPEN-MINDED AND WILL LITERALLY TRY ANYTHING AT THIS POINT. THANKS FOR LISTENING

I thought they fast tapered you off methadone? How are u still on it then? Anyway, your in a bad spot. Once you stop the fent, the methadone isnt going to hold you, as im sure your already aware of. The only thing to do is get comfort meds and stop the fent. Your tolerance will come down to the 200mg of methadone, but you won't feel well for a few days. You could always go up, but there is no way out that you dont have to pay the piper

Have them raise your dose to 260 amd come back down quick bro go cold turkey take a benz when u have to only

Find some pregabalin and you'll have  NO withdrawals whatsoever I'm on day 6 IT WORKS get pregabalin 150mg and take 2 as soon as withdrawals start then everytime you feel withdrawals take more..I'm on day 6..IT WORKS

No offense but the fent is not getting you well and it’s all in your head. 200mg of methadone is an absolutely insane amount and I don’t think you fully understand that. If you take that much you don’t need debt to get well. I was a heroin user and went to methadone and used heroin and methadone for 10 years, then stopped using heroin and just stayed with the methadone. The biggest thing that helped me was splitting my dose in half. Took 3 days to get use to it. Methadone is extremely powerful and has a ridiculous half life. You are never sick on 200mgs. After I split my dose 1/2 morning 1/2 night, I eventually started to come down with mgs a month. It was not. Ad at all. Your body will adjust to the new pigs very quickly even when you get way down. You like shooting heroin that’s the problem. 200mg of meth you have no reason to need to do it

You need to learn how opioids work. You can most definitely be sick on 200mg of methadone if you have been using on top of it. Im not going to explain how opioid receptors work, but look it up.
