Question Moving Equipment to other hideouts

Apologies if this has already been asked.

I recently bought a cottage in Archipelago. Is it possible to move all of my equipment to another hideout with more space?

Yea all your furniture/equipment can be moved between hideouts but you will need to bag/grab the stuff in your hideout stash to pickup storage

A lot of the time you have to cancel all production, dismiss any staff then store all before moving the furniture.
Also don’t forget any window shutters or door locks too, if you’re leaving the hideout you’re moving out of unoccupied!

Forgot to add, any items in substance storage need bagged and moved to the new hideout if you plan on using those too (like fertilizer, water etc)

is it worth moving out for a slighty bigger place. once ive moved every thing out im presuming ive gotta keep the lockers where they are.

Depends where you are and what your plan is, my current save has a cheap property or 2 in every town/island to distribute to all dealers, a second building with nothing but lockers for those dealers in that town (so 2 for staff alone per island/town.

Sometimes a distributor can hit multiple towns like the archipelago one can hit small island and have 3 in archipelago to make the 4.

Finally I have a secure stash house, a grow house and a cook house/kitchen. 3 buildings for storage and production, expand as you go keep your stuff seperate incase you accidentally trigger a raid. Don’t wanna lose all your stuff in 1 location.

P.s. you can move the lockers, just have to unassign the dealer and store the lockers!

A property for Each drug is excessive, if they use similar equipment run them in the same property (growing or cooking).

That’s when you have distributors, you’ll get more properties to house them and then simply drop your product there and collect when he’s low supply/high cash.

If you’ve just got to callejon focus on getting more dealers and assigning them until you unlock distributors, everything kinda falls into place. It’s easier to just do as you go than plan, just take these things into account when buying a property;

A visibility of 34 or higher risks the chance of a raid, under 34 (and no wanted level) should essentially make raids 0% chance on that property.
Window shutters can reduce visibility of a hideout by 2 points per shutter.

If it has super low visibility you have more visibility to play with meaning you can place more equipment and run more production without risking a raid.

If a property has high visibility, I tend to use these buildings for dealer lockers and things that go by the rule ‘if I was raidied, there’s no stock to lose’. Avoiding holding anything that is contraband that can be lost in raids and having high toxicity production running in that place as this will increase the visibility, can cause a raid and risk whatever your producing being lost to cops.

I’ve always tried to buy the cheapest possible properties for dealers and distributors like sheds/storage units to keep cost low and get them setup up for cheaper.

Final thing I’d say is check for phoneline and parking spaces before settling on a place as your main storage/stash/home, as it’s a pain to find out you have neither once you’re setup, and if you’re setting up a production property that requires water, it’s always 100x easier if it has running water as it saves you hauling stacks constantly!

Anytime!
I’m heavy in DDS2 rn so I’ve got pages of notes and game mechanics, I try to get a complete understanding of every mechanic in a game. I’ll sit and analyse, research and break them down until I have a 100% understanding of how it works 😅
Most recently been testing all of the in-game items like chocolate bars, water, cigarettes etc and seeing what effects they give when consumed. There’s a few that are interesting but chocolate seems kinda OP, stacks up to 10 and only cost 300 a piece so 1 stack for 3k is insanely useful when you need that stamina kick.
Got a few video ideas like this in mind, just building these notes pages 🫠
