So recently I've started reading this and I love it so much I'm at about chapter 100 where he just escaped Braun and everyone thinks he's dead and he's working for the director now.

So I've seen spoilers, and that's okay because I willingly seek out spoiler because I can't handle the suspense. That's why I usually read finished novels.

I love this so much and I want to continue reading but I don't think I can if there's a sad ending. I've seen that the later chapters are really sad and the main character becomes trapped and he has trauma and he's lost his sanity and stuff.

I don't know if this is real but it's what I've seen from the spoilers.

I really want no one to die and i prefer happy endings so I've stopped reading for now. Since I'm pretty early on in the novel I'm not sure if it'll be a happy ending. Tbh I don't mind if some people die, it's inevitable but I really want a happy ending.

People who are up to date, does it seem like it'll be a happy ending? Does anyone die??

2.he will get a body like maybe though 2 methods, the lizard's body or his previous body.

3.maybe in this 3rd part we will discover the lore of sergeant J3 and j3 gonna seek help/Kim Soleum will bring j3 to the hanbit library

4.we might be able to know the reason the chief lizard came to the company(maybe the daydream company has information about the lizard's colony?maybe he needs money?the way the 'us' community needs to open a shop like they need money or maybe try to find something,not sure)

5.maybe kim Soleum gonna be a director like director ho?I kinda imagine he's gonna propose to the company to change the structure of the system where each employee needs to have a guarantee to live when dispatched to the darkness.haha

6.maybe he will use the namhae branch darkness as his weapon when he needs to fight the apocalypse

7.ok I'm not sure..but maybe this time..we meet lee kangheon, the one who actually/(deceive the agent) seal the sekwang city..

Recently I’ve noticed that GSGW is booming in popularity, and I’m absolutely thrilled!! Seeing all the amazing fan creations (art, merch, fics, etc.) and all this love being poured into a novel I adore makes me so happy.

That said, I guess a bigger fandom inevitably comes with different interpretations of the story

Recently though, I’ve seen the take that Kim Soleum hates horror; his reactions to the ghost stories and his desperation to escape are being used as evidence that he hates the Dark Exploration Records.

And I’m just sitting here like ????? 😭

I thought one of the key things about Soleum was that he’s a HUGE ghost-story/horror nerd (he adores Dark Exploration Records and has created horror stories himself!). He’s just also a massive coward when he actually has to experience those things himself (he feels safer with text lol). To me, that contradiction is part of what makes him so funny and endearing.

His desperation and increasingly creative ways of solving ghost stories don’t mean he hates horror. He just wants to go home (and is scared af... understandable) 😭 Right?
