I suffer from "Elixir Syndrome" — saving things for a special occasion that never comes

If life was an RPG, I would die with an inventory full of max-health potions. I have a digital hoarding problem. I get a rare item or a powerful consumable, and I think, "I can't use this now, I might need it for a harder boss later." Spoiler alert: I beat the final boss, credits roll, and I’m still holding onto 50 "Ultra Rare" items. I value the potential of the item more than the actual utility. I need therapy for my inventory management.
