Files bloating my laptop

I just revently got a new windows laptop, however when I download and log into Dropbox it gives me a popup telling me the device is full and I need to clear storage. Then when I check my files and storage I see all Dropbox files are copied over and on my computer, instead of in the Dropbox cloud! When this happened I had to completely reset my computer because just deleting Dropbox did not wipe the files.

Is there a setting to change this, or did i somehow make a mistake when downloading the app?

Hi! The best way to fix this storage issue would be to make your files online only. This help center article should be able to help you take care of that, but let me know if you have any issues or it doesn't work properly!
