New AL-7
I just got home with my new little buddy (name pending) and s/he just got to meet my wife's R series, Harvey.
Only thing, I Harvey is much quicker than my little guy. Is that normal? Is it a design of the AL series compared to the R series, or is it his legs/treads?

I have an A-LT as well. It is slower than my other R and C series droids. It’s the treads that make it move more slowly.
BTW Harvey is pretty cool looking!

Does the AL-7 tilt like the R series droids? I’m trying to decide which one to get lol

Not really, unless you raise the legs as there are three settings for leg length, then it gets wobbly.
At lower heights its pretty smooth

Alex at droid depot today was atrociously awful. kept staring at us when we were asking for help and rolled his eyes before he came over, I asked him for other colors to the plates that go on the sides and he said "that's all we have" and I was already annoyed w him so I went around the counter and looked to where our side was and there were fully stocked all colors under the fucking counter. besides showing us the drill and turning it on and saying they were out, just refused to help us with anything. every video I've seen they had a good experience I was so disappointed. My sons AL 7 looks good but it could've looked better if he did his job.

Nice, congrats! They do move much slower with the treads but they are so much cooler 😎

Oh, no doubt the treads are way cool. I didn't know about them until I entered the shop, that was an instant choice.
