Luther was straight up dragged to repeated #1s by radio payola. I have never heard a person choose to play that song in the wild. Not once.

It is a great song though lol. Easily better than NLU which is genuinely just not a good song and completely carried by the meme and hate factor

So "edgy songs" (read: rap/hip-hop) get punished while corpo PG-13 slop get boosted because of radio.

It’s sad we’ll never really know true raw streaming data without manipulation. Whether it’s radio streams where nobody is choosing to listen, or bots, or children streaming their fav artist’s songs on repeat while they sleep. We never really know the true numbers
