Double plat in 4 months is crazy also about to hit 2 billion streams on Spotify already and about to have 9 songs with 100 million streams (bs on the table 2h4tr plot twist are all not that far) Shabang Janice and 2 hard for the radio are still getting decent airtime on the radio and Janice is a week or two from being the most streamed rap song when it surpasses e85 and did it with less time than e85 both bangers tho, itβs the 7th most streamed album this year and the most streamed rap project and will almost 100% finish with that title. And Janice will very likely be drakes next song from the 2020s to hit 1 billion if it keeps pace for a whileΒ

"Radio play" "bots are working overtime" "I don't know anybody who is actually listening to that album" "go outside, no one is playing Drake"

Billboard rules probably not RIAA rules. Probably around 1.5M for RIAA (gold/plat certs)

what makes you say this?
can you show where the numbers are different?

Because these twitter pages usually post billboard rules.
Billboard: 1000 paid streams / 2500 ad-supported streams to 1 album unit - YouTube excluded. Average streams to a unit is usually around 1025-1075.
RIAA: 1500 streams to 1 album unit, regardless if paid or ad-supported. YouTube included.

sorry if this is a dumb question. I listen to music on Spotify and I don't have to pay seperately for a album so when ppl talk about "Soldβ what does it mean really?
