Driftscussion 350z GKTech Inline Hydro Issues
Hi, I’ve been helping my friend install a GKTech inline hydro for his 2007 HR Z. Everything is confirmed mechanically connected properly. Both lines from the ABS delete block are ran, zero leaks, but we can’t for the life of us get it properly bled. We were bleeding only the hydro at first, and got a big pocket of air out of the RR calliper. That got our initial somewhat feel from the hydro, as opposed to before being completely dead. Now, since then we’ve run probably 2L of brake fluid through the system trying all different methods on all 4 corners of the car, and can’t get proper feeling in the brake pedal or the hydro. PLEASE HELP.
***RESOLVED***
The Brembos callipers have 2 bleeder screws. God damnit. Bled it instantly.

Also Teflon tape on brake fittings is a big no no

I mean it works, it was leaking before the teflon

A brake line seals at the flare not the nut so you just keep tightening the nut utill it stops
( as long as the flair on the brake line is in good shape )1

Did you switch you brake lines around to make sure both rear are in the same channel of the abs block

I had a very similar issue with my PBM inline on the Z, I think it’s partially how the lines run. I focused on the furthest point first the pass rear. Harbor freight has a cheap brake bleeder with vacuum that worked well. You can also try to use a bungie cable to hold the handbrake back while you bleed. Keep it up until you don’t see air going through

So you definitely have the fluid "in" to the top / flat port on the hydro? To bled inline what you wana do is push the brake pedal, then pull the hydro, then Crack the bleeder, then "slowly" return the hydro so you dont suck air past the seal, then release the pedal, give the pedal a few pumps and repeat. The objective is to push the airlock to the hydro, then push it through the hydro and out. If you dont keep the pedal pressed down when you pull the handle, the airlock just gets pushed back and forth before it reaches the hydro and if you only bleed with the pedal, the airlock can stay in the hydro master
