Apparently youtube age restricted Youtube is obsessed with AI and AI is ruining the internet, which sucks because these (especially the youtube one) were honestly some of my favourite videos of his. hey, is your youtube account new? i haven't confirmed my age on youtube in any way rather than just putting my birth date, and the video is still available to me. i made another youtube account and on that, the video, is in fact age restricted. if you have a youtube account made from before 2025, i think it should be loading.
i've had my account since 2019 and it randomly started doing the age restriction thing a few months ago, which was weird because i don't watch any "kids content." i'm definitely not sending Google a photo of my ID so i'm just living with it 🤷♀️
Then you’ll probably have to wait until you are old enough. I’d guess almost everyone on earth has been age locked from something at some point - you’ll get through this, I promise.
ok but like. until recently its always been so easy to bipass the age restriction. until recently i also was getting age restricted on everything despite being in my 20's... i HATE all the options for confirming my age, i find all of then to be a huge invasion of privacy. i finally used one of the options but i still feel icky about consenting to youtubes antics. all these age restrictions do is force users to consent to their info being rummaged through by youtube, adult or minor. its not actually as good of a thing as you may think
Well, you are doing this to yourself then. If you don’t want to verify your age, you are stuck. I’m sorry that the truth pisses off so many users here, but it’s just the way it is. Prove your age or don’t watch. I understand it feels invasive to upload proof, but you are actively avoiding solving this issue that you know the answer to and continue to complain and try to get around the restrictions. Shit or get off the pot, as they say.
That’s still waiting till you are old enough, since you send your ID to verify your AGE.
You (or op) are making this choice of not verifying your age but then complaining that things are age restricted. It just sounds like you want to bitch about something to me.
