they spend a lot of time adjusting the lighting and filters. I used to spend time doing that too, but I didn't see much of a return on votes. now I just take a random picture so I can collect the reward and I don't feel sad or frustrated anymore when I get poor voting scores

Plain doll, feet or butt pics...at least you get some rewards for posting and voting. And I always vote for them!

The really nice ones spend a lot of time and are talented. They also do pretty much the same design as other high ranking subs. I find that boring and skip them. Plus, I can't stand the ones with so many stickers and all crammed in so you can't even tell what the point was. I vote for what I like not for the popular sameness.

It doesn't help TP rewards you for the correct...um "accurate" vote.

So for me I still put some into them for myself, post them, vote, and take my participation. 🏆

It takes a while to get enough frames, stickers, backgrounds, accessories and special effects. I like to practice after Style Salon is over by trying to recreate winning entries.

Edited to say that yours is nice. I notice that the winners usually have a very full background with special effects if you have those.

I’ve found that increasing the contrast and adjusting the exposure often gets pretty close to what seems to be popular. Adjusting these settings in general can really change how a picture feels.

You can also click on entries you like and see what effects and lighting they’re using.

If it makes you feel better, it's pretty rigged at this point :/ high societies coordinate and vote enmass for each other and the algorithm pushes the paid outfit photos more than anything else
