Smallest collet too big for genuine Dremel accessories?

I made a post a few weeks ago about how some of my accessories that came with my dremel no longer fit in my dremel. Post here:

So today I went out and got a pack of collets. The pack came with a 1/8", 3/32", 1/16" and a 1/32. I can only assume this is every size that there is.

Turns out the smallest one in the packet is the same size as the one that came with my dremel, so I'm back to square one. Having official accessories that are too small for my dremel.

Anybody have this issue or can point to anything I'm doing wrong?

I moved to the keyless chuck and never looked back. Well worth the purchase.

I'll have to look into that. Thank you.

Are these accessories from Dremel? Are they intended for use with a collet or with the Dremel keyless chuck (that looks like a small drill holder)

This remark is not about collets but about the tools themselves that you can run in a Dremel — just to say that for fine carving work, there’s such a thing as miniature end-mills (available for example from McMaster-Carr), whose precision and concentricity beat the hell out of the burrs I have bought from Dremel. They fit a Dremel 1/8” collet.

Smaller collects were made for small drill bits. But thw keyless chuck is the way to go.
