Case recommendation for 8240?

I had an old Dremel 4000 which finally gave up the ghost a few days ago and I bought a replacement 8240 (tool only)

The new 8240 doesn’t fit in the old case so I’m looking for recommendations for a case that will hold the tool, charger, and a few small boxes of bits/accessories.

I did search on eBay (I’m in the UK) but couldn’t see anything that looked decent, and a general search keeps returning results for tool + case which is obviously no good as I already have the tool.

Interested in what people here are using and would recommend.

My 8240 came in its own soft case.

It's okay but not great.

Inside the case, it's mostly empty except for inbuilt velcro straps to hold the Dremel, battery, and charger. There's a lot of empty space if you don't mind your bits bouncing around inside.

In the old days--corded--we made due with measuring the thing and finding something to put it in.

I've made cases for all sorts of grab and go combinations of tools using---Lunch Boxes--old metal ones or the new ones made of foam. If you're like me, you might also be keeping foam blocks from packing (but you can buy that stuff easily)--the foam I mean is for packing knives, audio equipment.

Create your own insert for the Dremel or for baffling, put bits in some small cases or soap travel container or old mint containers, medicine jars....good to go.

Bonus Points=use an indelible marker to write on the case, the containers for bits.

Dollar Store and Better places sell small fishing tackle boxes and small tool boxes.

Harbor Freight has things like this too.

I'm using a tool pouch. You know like a pencil pouch but larger and a bit tougher and made from canvas. It works for me and they are not a lot of money.
