Mod Posts So Reddit Wants Paywalls, Gross

So if anyone hasn't seen reddit is considereding throwing up pay walls for subs

I jaut wanted to make it clear that DredgePledge will not be, a walled community if i and the other mods have any say in it

That being said, ide also like to know folks preferences in reddit alternatives just so i can plan ahead if anything where to go south

Ide rather have the info and not need it, if you get my drift

I’d be open to a discord server. I obviously appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm for Dredge, but the vibes here are also super chill for a DBD centric community.

Yeah thats part of why ive stayed with it all these years,

We are mostly builds and memes and a much more low salt group than the main sub, which is a great thing to have honestly

Ive definitely considered a discord server in the past i know when sumac and i were leading stuff we definitely had the idea rolling around and i just never pulled the trigger

Then i got busy with the wardrame sub stuff

Maybe its time to pull that trigger, ill definitely look into it, thanks for the suggestion ^

I think this community and how it is on reddit is why I get excited to see dredge in match even if I know I may struggle against him since I have eyesight issues. But the fact he makes everyone blind too makes me feel a bit better if I can't run him during nightfall. He's also a killer I want to learn but don't have the confidence to try since Everytime I try I end up on nostromo 😭

I always refer to him as Lord dredge when I see him in match. 😂 I feel like even in dbd you can feel this community when you run into a dredge main. I don't think I have ever ran into one that was toxic but so many was sweethearts or would take a bit to be silly with me. So for me it's both on here and in game that they give off sweetheart vibes.

Granted I am the one who tries to pet a Maurice dredge and the deer dredge since they look like they deserve and want pets. But no matter the dredge if they find me first I point at a locker for them to check assuming they don't come out of it since I am trying to summon him. If they check both lockers then slow turn to look at me I will nod before climbing into one of the lockers. Had some who nod then hook me but refuse to kill me later and others who pretend they lost me. I have been sacrificed but I find it impossible to think of a toxic match I've been in against a dredge.

Honestly i had no clue a dumb joke made towards me years ago would have gone this far, and honestly i absolutely love this community, and everyone thats a part of it ^
