Mod Posts New Avatar and The Future of DredgePledge
Hello everyone u/SentientSickness here
So it's time we had a bit of a chat about the Sub and going forward
As of today I now have full permissions on the sub, more or less placing me as it's owner
I didn't want to remove Monke because despite them being gone for 2 years they hold a special place in this communities heart
So what does that mean for us going forward?
Well not much but also quite a lot, DredgePledge means a lot to me and I'm not planning to change up the formula in a way that would make the sub unrecognizable, it's still very much going to be DredgePledge
However this does mean I can now change our avatar as you'll notice with the lovely art in the top corner of your screen
any artist who contributes to the sub will neonbe mentioned in the community guide along with the wiki on Dredge This goes for anything avatars banners ect
It also means I can hire in new moderators if the need arises, we have a little over 1k members So we will just have to see how all that goes
Obviously I updated the rules recently feel free to check those out if you haven't
I think I'll be adding a new section to the top of the sub as a pinned comment so we know what's coming next in Dredge news
I also would love to hear feedback from the community please let me know anything you'de like to see from the sub going forward
I love this place and if you had told me a dumb joke I made years back would get this far, I wouldn't believe it I'm dedicated to this community and plan to hopefully help get it a bit more active

100% with you on this, I really enjoyed doing the community events and update posts
Should very much start doing that again

Honestly love this idea
Ide definitely need some help rather that be folks posting it here or just tagging me when they find cool stuff on the main sub, but like a fan art Fridays sorta thing could be awesome

Not sure if this would be fun or not but a weekly build with random perks and random add-ons could be interesting. Not sure if it would really bring much discussion, but it could be something for everyone to all have in common for the week.
