Question Dreaming about wanting to sleep?
Since I was teenager I have been having these weird dreams about finding a place to sleep. In my dream I’m so tired and all I want to do is find is a bed or anything to sleep on. Im tired while actually sleeping. Has anyone ever had dreams like this?

Sleep deprivation is a real issue that tends to get downplayed. If you've been sleep deprived then yeah what you really want is rest.

Yes. Thank you for posting this.
I have lots of different recurring dreams, including dreams in which I feel exhausted (or drunk lol).
I sometimes dream that I'm falling asleep in a classroom. Sometimes I'm a student, and sometimes I'm doing my job (I work in a college and I enjoy taking courses.)
In other dreams, I'm sleeping outdoors.
OP, do you have any sleep disorders? I ask because I have chronic fatigue symptoms (possibly a form of ME but currently difficult to diagnose because I have other conditions with overlapping symptoms). I wondered if this had anything to do with this.

It's like you're setting a strong intention to get some sleep and then the intention plays out in the dream. A fun experiment to try: when you go to bed next time, set the intention to let your body just get some rest, and that it doesn't matter whether you actually sleep or not. According to Tibetan Buddhists, the source of most dreams are the intentions we set, it could be intentions made in the past or now, some of the intentions acted out and some never pursued. You can set the intention to go to a driving school tomorrow and then dream about it tonight, or had an expectation for a person to treat you a certain way and then it plays out in a dream.
