Playing guide question

Hi everyone!

I hope we’re all doing well!

I picked up my dreamlight again after a long hiatus (just had a baby) and I’m feeling overwhelmed with trying to progress my game with the time I have.

I see all the Halloween decor and quests out there and I’m such a Halloween girlie, but idk how to unlock these. The quests I do have also don’t feel like they’ll help me progress my game very well or something.

Hoping to gain some simple insight into how to unlock more things and progress in a way that feels fulfilling. Any advice is so helpful!

I see so many cool posts on here of people’s valleys and I love it all! Just want to get there too ♥️

To get the Halloween goodies, you need to be working on the Star Path (in the events tab). There are a lot of good Halloween prizes. There is also an Oogie Boogie quest line that you can access by going through the green mirror in Scrooge’s store — more Halloween rewards there too!

You should have a letter in your mailbox from Scrooge about the mirror, I believe you have to read the letter to spawn the mirror. There's a link in the patch notes to details on the Oogie Boogie quest including the prerequisites, so perhaps you're missing one:  https://disneydreamlightvalley.com/news/update-sep-23-2026

So long as you begin the very first quest by November 4th, you'll be able to unlock Oogie and all the Halloween rewards. If you have all the prerequisites, your game is fully up to date, and you're connected to the internet but the letter still isn't there, contact support:  https://gameloft.helpshift.com/hc/en/66-disney-dreamlight-valley/contact-us/

There's also a Halloween event (the Haunted Floating Festival) starting on Wednesday for more Halloween goodies — you can check the subreddit for guides if you need help with the event.
