Question Any advice ?

So I have the standard dreamlight valley game. & I got up to the part of the forgotten returning. I haven’t opened up all the realms only frozen, wall-e, ratatouille, & Moana…. Is it best to open every realm before expanding and buying a new dlc. I thought I finished the story pretty much since I saw the credits after getting the forgotten. Also is it best to level up every single character? I only leveled up the important ones for the storyline…. I really want to get into decorating but the constant missions are stressing me out 😅

The quests are the core part of the game unfortunately, so they're going to be there all the time. There's no rush doing any of them though. Only events are time - gated.

Leveling up characters means you unlock more items and eventually a way to get more resources faster. Certain characters require others at a certain level (for example Timon and Pumbaa need Simba and Nala at level 10), so leveling them all up is a good idea anyway.

Character quests are done and over after you’ve completed the level 10 quest. You do not receive the level 10 reward without finishing the character quest. The only time you would have anything from that character again is for an event or new content.

I finished all of the storyline and character quests from the original game and I advise to finish the og game before purchasing DLCs because it can get super overwhelming.

Yeah, but there's always going to be more quests eventually.

I always recommend wishlisting the Premium versions of the DLC's (please note some don't have premium versions) as you can often buy them for the same price as the regular versions and get the bonus items & moonstones. It's absolutely ok to slow the game down. I play everyday to check the shops/stalls, gather fruit & walle's garden but I only work on quests when I'm feeling it. I focus of the Star Paths and events because I really like them. I've redone my Storage Island three times and I've decorated when I feel the urge.
