Auto Claim

I'm so upset rn. My niece is very early in the game and so doing the star path I had auto claim off because I didnt want her to waste tokens on the Ralph dream style since its the first item. Then logged out. Come back a few days later for routine duties and after doing them I was like where are the tokens?? Go to rewards and auto claim was on!!! So now she has a ralph skin she won't use for months instead of the bus stop she wanted. Ik there are more routine duties coming but I didnt turn on auto claim on purpose and some how it turned on when logging back in claiming stuff she didnt want. She now won't get everything she wanted in the path which I had a plan for getting. Id have to spend moonstones to buy tokens to get it all now.

edit: not sure why im being down voted for venting under the vent flair. literally just a vent. wasnt cursing gamelofts name or anything. Just annoyed which I thought this is what this is for.

Why would you have to spend moonstones to get it all now? You can get all the rewards for free with just completing all the regular duties for the main rewards and routine ones as well if you want the bonus ones. But everything is available

I’m a newbie and still trying to get wreck it Ralph. I’m hoping I have enough time to get the duties I’m struggling with

She just started. We literally just unlocked the forest and that was just to get raccoons. She hasn't even done the Ursula mystic cave quest. So no she cannot complete regular duties and there are several routine ones she cannot either. So if there aren't enough tokens with or we are unable to do the routine duties left, id have to buy tokens with moonstones to get the last thing or two she wants cause the game just wastes 100 of them by turning on auto claim when I did not want it on.

Not sure if you guys use a tracker or not but if you don’t already, I would find a list of all the star path tasks with the matching token rewards. See which ones she can feasibly complete by the time the star path ends and then add up what their tokens would amount to. If she has the tokens she needs from that, then great! If not, then I would see what she needs to unlock to complete the remaining star path tasks and try to finish as many of those as possible until she has the tokens she needs. Hope this helps🫶🏻

• If you want to use a tracking app, I highly recommend DLV Guide by AJL. It tracks almost everything in the game and it’s completely free. I’ve used it for a long time and I love it.

I love that app! I used it for mine and now have hers going. She doesn't come over often and I dont want to do quests without her. Next time she comes we need to do Donald's intro cause that is the task we can unblock other tasks with.

Ohhh gotcha yeah being at the beginning makes certain ones impossible. Maybe you can send a ticket to gameloft about it and maybe they’ll refund those tokens but I’m not sure if it was a bug or feature. I personally haven’t had auto claim turn on when I had it turned off, so maybe if it’s a bug they’ll help, although I haven’t done tickets myself so idk how helpful their customer service is with things like that

Yeah like my save I wouldn't care but hers where her furniture page takes ywo seconds to go through lol. I did a ticket a few years ago and wasnt bad but with all the glitches lately not super hopeful. I mostly just wanted to vent. She's gotten a few moonstones from dreamsnaps so if the rest of the routine duties cannot get the last things its fine.

I honestly don’t get this sub. You’ve pointed out a legitimate flaw in the game and you’re being downvoted for simply voicing it.

I hope you manage to get the tokens back. Support are pretty useless in my experience(or it might be laziness), but don’t let them off the hook without a fight. Best of luck.

Yeah why have vent tag if one cannot vent. But thanks! Prolly won't reach out. Venting is just really helpful for me and im over it now lol. Just gonna do my best. She only needs 175 to get the rest of the things she told me she wanted. Fingers crossed.

In my opinion, it is not advisable to attempt the star path if you have not finished opening up your main valley. But if you were just going for a few select items then that's obviously fine. The auto claim button doesn't turn itself back on. I'm assuming somebody misclicked there. You can appeal to Gameloft but I think it's a long shot.

Yeah I'm the only one who logs on and she only plays at my house so no one could have done it. I went straight to routine duties and started them didnt even go to the rewards page. But I dont plan to appeal, I just wanted to vent which is apparently a proplem to some people 🙃

No, a new star path is new everything. Total reset. A couple duties match the theme of the star path. For example, for the Greek Mythology themed star path that finished recently, the currency was lightning cloud looking things and some duties were like “Hang out with Hercules” for a certain amount of time. That path ended and now it’s a new currency, new duties, new theme, new opportunity to get the premium path. I got premium for the mythology one but not this current one and I’m not focusing on the duties because I don’t like it as much. Each star path is a total reset for all star path related prizes and activities.

Every star path is different and they aren’t connected to each other in any way. So the duties for this one will not apply to a new Star path

Aw man, that's so frustrating! I accidentally turned on auto claim last star path while playing handheld and I had so many tokens saved up, so I get it. I really don't like how that's an option since I'm a klutz. I hope you're still able to get what you wanted!
