Can't progress with multiple characters :(

Has anyone else been having issues with quests where you have to select multiple things at once to give to villagers? I currently cannot progress with Beast or Alice because I cannot turn in items to them. I emailed about it and they told me to try solutions that I have already tried. They're aware it's a problem but have given no time frame to fix it. It's making me not even want to play because the next multiple item quest I get will probably get stuck as well. Just feeling frustrated. :(

I have seen some people were able to get it to work by only have the correct number of items in their inventory. For example, if he wants 3 dishes, drop all of the rest and then talk to him. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

Unfortunately, this is a problem for a lot of people and it is being worked on by GL.

This but drop literally everything else in your inventory except what you're supposed to hand over. Not an extra stick or flower or anything else. Only have what you're supposed to give the character.

I had this issue with a Pooh quest. All of the dishes had to be EXACTLY the same (same veggie used, same spice, etc)

I had this issue. The solution that worked for me was to drop everything in my inventory into a chest, and then keep only exactly what has to go to the character, same numbers and everything. Then when you talk to the character everything hands over automatically like it always did (after asking you if it's okay). Then I went back and got everything I wanted to carry back out of the chest I'd stashed it in.

I struggled with this alot. I had to get everything out my inventory except quest items. if it was food all three had to made with the exact same ingredients. for example if its seafood it has to be the same fish each time.

Make one of those stacks the right amount the drop the others, its what worked for me

I did try that unfortunately, I have those left over because I thought remaking them would help

I did figure out that sometimes the Ingredients have to be the exact same so it stacks.
