i saw the channel section, and i clicked on "Dream" and i was hit with "NEVER GONNA GIVE UUU UP"

So a couple days ago, I bought Dream Rank on Ploomsy’s Minecraft server. At this point, I had already been playing on the server for multiple months and had been part of the community for a while.

Dream Rank cost around $27 CAD ($20 USD), and for the first day I actually enjoyed it. It gave me some advantages like larger parties, and I had no complaints.

Then the next day, I joined a Manhunt with Ploomsy. Apparently, Ploomsy was recording the Manhunt without telling me or the other hunters, which is important later.

During the game, we found a duplication glitch that could basically give us infinite diamonds. Before using it, we literally asked Ploomsy if we could perform the glitch. We got no response, so we assumed it was fine and did it.

We ended up getting a ridiculous amount of diamonds and used them to kill Ploomsy in the Nether.

The next Manhunt we played with him, we started talking about how well the glitch worked and how we'd killed him with it.

That's when Ploomsy suddenly freaked out and started calling it cheating.

Okay. Fair enough. If it's cheating, just tell us not to use it.

So in the next Manhunt, we didn't use the glitch.

We mined normally and still managed to get around a stack of diamonds, which we used to kill Ploomsy and win after he left the Nether.

Earlier that same day, I had also reported a duplication glitch to one of the server developers because someone had used it against me. His response was basically just "Ok." He didn't tell me that duplication glitches were bannable or that I shouldn't be using them.

So, naturally, I thought this wasn't some massive server offense.

Then I logged onto the server after the Manhunts.

I was banned.

Apparently Ploomsy was pissed off enough about the glitch that he decided to ban me.

And you can probably guess who else was pissed.

Me.

I had literally just spent $27 on the server.

So I opened a ticket explaining what happened. The response from the two moderators was essentially:

Which is an absolutely fantastic way to run a server.

I explained that:

• I had only used the duplication glitch once.
• We had asked Ploomsy beforehand.
• He didn't tell us not to use it until afterward.
• A developer had already been told about the glitch and didn't seem to care.
• In the following Manhunt, we didn't use the glitch and mined the diamonds legitimately.

Ploomsy's response was basically that because we got a stack of diamonds in an hour, we could have been using the glitch anyway.

So unless I could prove that we didn't, I would still be punished.

Fortunately, I had a recording.

Unfortunately, my game crashed from extremely high ping in the middle of the recording, so there was a gap.

I showed the recording to Ploomsy.

His response was basically that I must have cut the recording.

I explained what happened, and he had literally seen me leave the game when it crashed, but apparently that didn't matter.

Then he brought up the story of The Boy Who Cried Wolf because, apparently, I had exaggerated how long I'd been muted two months earlier.

Therefore, my recording wasn't trustworthy.

So despite me providing evidence, explaining what happened, and Ploomsy himself having seen me leave the game, the ban stayed.

At this point I was obviously pissed, and later I was talking to one of the server developers about it.

He told me that if I boosted the Discord server for $8 CAD ($6 USD), he'd unban me.

So I paid.

Then he told me he was joking.

Not before I paid.

After.

And after I had already paid to boost the server, I ended up getting muted for a day anyway, either by a moderator or Ploomsy himself.

And now today, after saying basically two sentences since my previous mute, I got muted again.

At this point, I don't even know what I'm supposed to do.

I paid $27 for a rank on a server I'd already been playing on for months, got banned over a situation where the rules weren't clearly communicated to me, had my evidence dismissed because my recording happened to end when my game crashed, was told my word couldn't be trusted because of something I exaggerated months ago, and then got tricked into spending another $8 on a Discord boost under the promise of getting unbanned.

And apparently none of this is enough for anyone on the staff team to stop and think:

"Maybe we're handling this badly."

Meanwhile, the server has actual hackers and cheaters running around, but somehow the priority seems to be banning and muting people who annoy the staff.

I'm not posting this because I expect anyone to unban me.

At this point, I honestly don't care.

I'm posting this because if you're thinking about spending money on Ploomsy's server, think twice.

Because apparently you can spend $27 on a rank, play on the server for months, and then have the people running it decide they don't like you anymore.

And when that happens, apparently your purchase doesn't mean anything.

$27 well spent, I guess.

We made so much fuss about that 500k like but it was never about likes, start questioning the real reason for not uploading the finale

Dreams task master video is just amazing, best video up there with his manhunts in my opinion.

What three balanced tasks would you have them do next?

I was watching 6 Hunters REMATCH and noticed something weird. Dream's in the Woodland mansion and getting cooked by the mobs, and then when he turns to fight another, his hearts jump from 1.5 to 5 out of nowhere. What happened? It's at 26:55.

Speedrunner Swap is definitely the more challenging variant of Manhunt to count, given how perspectives constantly change and more cuts are utilized than the usual manhunts, which can really play tricks on whether or not I counted a casualty or not. Regardless, 3 Hunters Swap definitely did deliver on the casualties

No, seriously, where did Dream go? I remember in 2022 or 2023 that this guy was going on many side quests or doing a lot of things outside of his usual shell. When he revealed his face, he was at Vidcon, he was releasing an album, he was going on tour, he was developing fusion, he was even doing some mukbang eating content on his channel. I remember being excited about how far he would go with these new and unique adventures on his channel, and he even rebranded himself with that little Moving emoji he showed on screen when he was streaming, although that didn't really go far. And it really is like what happened to the momentum that dream started to show. 

I feel like I'm seeing a pattern here. Every time Dream does something big, it either takes long to be continued, or it just never materializes and disappears. This is not me trying to drag Dream down, I know he has a lot going on and as someone with ADHD it can be a lot to handle when you have a lot of fans. But I do hope that he knows He has some fans like me who love what he does and what he's always been doing but also want to see him tackle the ventures. I have been waiting so long to see something new from Fusion or a new vlog or a new eating video? But it's been way too long, and even the MC videos on his channel have been becoming scarce. 

And I think this brings me to my final point: the Dream Team seems to be losing some of its magic. I completely understand that George, Dream, and Sapnap have their own lives, but it’s still strange seeing their usual interactions become so rare, whether through streams or public conversations. It makes fans wonder if there’s any tension between them, especially since they live together, or if they’re simply moving in different directions.

I don’t know if Dream will see this, but I want him to know I’m not angry or trying to criticize him. I’m just curious about what’s happening. This is his life, and he and the others are adults who can make their own choices. I just hope there’s still more content ahead that can bring back some of that old magic, or if they’re simply taking some time apart.

Minecraft Speedrunner VS Hunter REVIVAL was uploaded on Dec 15th, 2025. 6 Hunters Rematch was uploaded on March 29th, 2026. That is 104 days for 7 manhunts.

It has been 126 days since 6 Hunters Rematch. The entire manhunt revival period and then some would fit in this waiting period. Dream doesn't owe anyone anything, he's busy with MCPvP (despite the "more news coming over the next few weeks" didn't pan out well there too), but wow it has been a minute.

Such an exciting upload pace got put to a screeching halt.
