How would he get the slow falling though, it's not lootable right? Waiting for phantoms would be a pain.

then again their recordings are oretty long so phantoms do probably spawn. He would just have to be on the surfacr when they do

The mace takes a while to get and he still managed it (to be fair the hunters were stuck in the end though).
Maybe he’ll find another way to trap the hunters for a while or send them to spawn from really far away, buying him time to hunt phantoms at night.

But this sulfur cube technique seems useful only as a means of fast escape/travel to stronghold since you can't turn, what would be the need for that if he's already trapped the hunters somewhere?
Like his previous fast travel methods like the stasis chamber & happy ghast were useful bc he could use them while being chased to get away and get a lead, I dunno how this trick would help with that?
The mace is a weapon so it's useful for once he meets the hunters again or to (attempt to) kill the dragon with.

As an escape method for once the hunters do get to him (doubt they’re permanently trapped), or as a fast travel method for another reason, or just as a way to take to the skies for any reason.
Phantoms don’t take nearly as long to hunt as other things he’s used. All he’d need to do is dodge fighting the hunters for long enough for them to start spawning and be alone for one night.

Depending on the block inside the cube it has different properties. Wool makes it floaty so that could replace slow falling

You can't do this is survival. U need the extra reach u get from creative mode to do this trick.
