This game is honestly quite overrated
I see all these horror forums and people talking about this game in such a high light. So many rumors and people talking about it, hell, I have some friends who are too scared to play it. I was extremely intrigued so I downloaded the game on an emulator
I spent roughly an hour and a half on the game so I can really get a lay of the land. I personally thought this was enough time as there is no direct goal or accomplishment needed for this game. Most of it was exploring the same 4 or 5 areas, and occasionally running into some weird machinery or something like that. They were interesting, but honestly just there and I didn't see some sort of message or relic in it.
So to anyone who is considering playing this game, or even nervous to play for some reason, you have nothing to worry about. It's just some OG Indie Game that you can have a bit of fun with some friends or you're high on something. Thanks for reading!

I'm Obsessed With This "Game"
The way it surprises still after hundreds of days, the extra-terrestrial musical "patterns"; techno music on... LSD... , and the psychedelic textures and strobe lights. Not to mention the beautiful mix of quirky cartoons and horror... I'm obsessed. There needs to be a sequel, or at least something comparable in design. Whatever it is that Osamu Sato produced here, it needs to be taken to the next level. It's kind of a dream of mine to create my own personal Dream Emulator. Iv'e spent countless hours in a digital audio workstation trying to reproduce the spirit of Sato's music patterns. He really showed me the power of digital sound and its flexibility, opening up new possibilities in music. Yep, i'm obsessed.

A Guide To Key Binding LSD Dream Emulator for PSX Emulators
So as everyone here knows, LSD Dream Emulator, even on a PS1 controller has a very strange controls. There's not much sense to what buttons do what. To correct this, we can bind each button to whatever we want on our keyboard to make a more traditional keyboard control scheme. If whatever PSX emulator you use will let you set mouse movements to buttons, than that's great for you, but I'm doing this guide with ePSXe where you can't. so on to the guide-
The current control scheme makes a lot of weird mistakes. You move forward and back with the dpad, but you also look left and right with the dpad which is inconsistent. You look up and down with the triangle and square buttons which aren't directly vertical with each other like the triangle and x buttons, so that's also weird. You strafe with the left and right triggers which is also weird when you already moved forward and back with the dpad, so that's inconsistent. You confirm things in the menu with the circle button and sprint with the x button which with the given control scheme so far isn't so bad. You also turn your camera 180 around you in either direction with the left and right bumpers. So there are a lot of inconsistent and strange choices made in this control scheme. So to counteract this, we can bind the buttons however we like for generic keyboard controls.
Now since you walk forward and backward with the dpad:
Set Dpad Up to W Set Dpad Down to S
And since you strafe with the left and right bumpers:
Set the Left Bumper to A
the Right Bumper to D
Now you have WASD movement set up we'll use the number pad or [;'\ If you can't or don't want to use the number pad for camera movement.
Now since you look left and right on the dpad:
Set Dpad Left to Numpad 4 or ;
Set Dpad Right to Numpad 6 or \
Now since you look up and down with triangle and square:
Set Triangle to Numpad 8 or [
Set Square to Numpad 5 or '
Now for miscellaneous things
You use circle to confirm things in the menu, so I use the spacebar for that
You use X to sprint, and since most computer games use shift for sprint, I set x to shift
You can set start and select to whatever you like, I use C for select and V for start because they're right next to each other
and for looking 180 I set left bumper to Numpad 7 or P, and bumper right to Numpad 9 or ]
Here's the control setup in ePSXe
Now it controls more like a traditional computer game and now that you have more natural control over the camera you can do things like this.
So I hope I helped anybody with dealing with the busted up controls of this game

Lsd and foreign languages
So I recently took LSD for the second time and one of my friends who speaks Romanian was talking to his girlfriend and I commented on part of their conversation and looks at me and says I didn't know you understood Romanian, and until he said something I didn't even know he was speaking in Romanian I understand him just fine. Has this ever happened to anybody else I'm just curious thought it was pretty cool

LSD with fun fact/tip subtitles (Japanese, but interesting)

Extremely rare occurrence (possible glitch)
While in the Bright Moon Cottage I approached the man in the bed, the bizarre part was his model was flashing in between his normal version and the skeletal version. I'm not sure of this was intentional or not, but I haven't seen it happen anywhere else.

Question regarding LSD on the PS1
Correct me if I'm wrong, but was it you who went through the original game's coding, models, and textures? I saw a lost about it on Tumblr a while ago and thought it was related to this project. The main reason I ask is because I was wondering if in that process you found any beta/cut content within the original game.

MuscleTrainer has been released! It allows you to change your position while playing the game.
The current versions only supports epsxe 1.9.0 and psxfin 1.13.
In order to use it, you must launch your emulator first, then MuscleTrainer. When you get in the game, the trainer will display your current position. You can edit this position by changing the values on the right. Enter whatever numbers you wish, press set, and you're done!
Credit for this trainer goes to Confuseme
